You love making things up in your own head, looking for anything to confirm your biased and then passing them off as truisms. What do you lot expect Fury to be doing right now from a starting point in the negotiations? Fury has so many fanboys in hysterics, putty in his genial hands. Just another thing that makes him special. Incredibly charismatic.
No debates over obscene amounts of money? What do you expect him to do when negotiating? That is exactly the essence of negotiating in contexts like this. He knows the Saudis are chucking money about like it’s nothing, why do some fans expect him to settle or play lowball? It would be ridiculous if he didn’t play hardball. I guarantee some of the people on here moaning about his tactics have haggled with tradesmen, solicitors, estate agents, fruit and vegetable merchants and what not over a couple of quid or a couple of thousand quid. It’s a joke to suggest that Fury shouldn’t be doing what he is doing when it could potentially mean the difference between hundreds of millions. Nobody knows how much the Saudis would realistically stump up. He’s doing the right thing by going in high. If he ends up with a purse much bigger than what Usyk and Joshua have just earned plenty of people here will bitterly have egg on their face. Also, it’s completely normal for bouts to take months to make. This narrative that he’s holding things up is laughable. If you don’t like the content just don’t listen to it. I don’t particularly enjoy it. It’s boring, but I can see why he’s doing it.
Don't see how being a compulsive liar is special/charismatic... just comes across an absolute bellend.
Good post and fair points, I agree with you in principle. Will give a proper reply another time - at work at the moment.
whatever the reason he won them already and threw them away already it suggests winning them is not all important to him the motivation is money only
Exactly. Choose whichever suits your agenda. I teach combative self protection and counter violence to various individuals and groups. Their location will always dictate geographically where my research is collected.
Fury just turned up to the WWE event in Cardiff. He knocked out one of the WWE wrestlers with a lethal right hand. Amazing how Fury is now a bonafide star. AJ would have got these kind of gigs a few years ago. Fury in his interview with BT said Usyk will not be ready for December, so he will be fighting this year in the UK. He is waiting for Frank Warren to find him an opponent.
