Both have fought at HW and are undefeated at the weight. Wilder mostly fought guys scooped up from outside the top ten like Duhaupaus, Szpilka, Molina, etc Fact is Wilder doesn't own a win against anyone who wasn't washed up or a never was. If you really want we can debate each guy ad nauseam. None of the three have a top notch hw win. Breidis koing Charr fits right in with Wilders best. Gassiev's three wins at hw are much like many of Wilders. The guys had good records but actually sucked. Any discussion of possible bouts is pure conjecture anyhow.

That fight will never happen and the tension will go on forever. Boxing is getting worse and worse, newly arrived boxers suffer attacks of criticism, while Fury and others like him will always be glorified and protected...

We weren't talking about his last two fights, but since he fought Cunningham.

I'm not even going to bother asking you to elaborate because Fury v Cunningham is by now a totally irrelevant fight due to how much better Fury is now, and to be fair, how much slicker Usyk is than Cunningham.

And how in the name of god is Usyk going to stop Fury laying on him?

This is something that is thrown around a lot but to me, it sounds like air. In what way has he improved that is relevant to the Usyk fight, exactly? He hasn't fought anyone remotely similar to Usyk in the past 9 years. Do we know if Fury could actually fare better against a style like Cunningham/Usyk? What is that based on?

Fury has somewhat better punching power since 2013 - but firstly, that won't do any good against a constantly moving, slick target with an iron chin, and secondly, it is still not clear how big a puncher is Fury. Sure, he knocked Whyte out - but Whyte has been an uppercut magnet and had a suspect chin for years now - I wouldn't read too much into that KO. And secondly, Fury struggled to stop a slow, exhausted Wilder with zero head movement. It took Fury until round 11 to finally stop Wilder who had been a walking punching bag for seven straight rounds.

As for the Cunningham fight: Steve was almost 37, way past his prime and still gave plenty of problems to a then only 24 Fury. If anything, Fury has declined since in speed and footwork. It was very clear how his footwork declined from fight to fight, starting from the third Wilder fight. Not only is he nine years older now but he is some 15 lbs heavier too. And all that weight gain and then weight loss as well as the boozing and doing drugs are certainly catching up to Fury. This is something that is often overlooked. Usyk is 1.5 years older and still, his body and system are in much better condition as he was always disciplined and has always lived and trained as a high-level athlete.

So Fury, at 34 and with declined foot speed, is about to step in the ring against someone who is younger, fitter, faster, has better ring IQ and is ten times the boxer than Cunningham ever was - and still, that 37-year-old Cunningham caused Fury all types of problems nine years ago. Usyk's team said a few days ago that, after watching Fury from ringside and noticing certain things (things that you won't pick up watching the fight on TV as well as some weaknesses), they were even more confident that Usyk would beat him. And Usyk and his team have always been straight shooters. They don't play mind games, they don't say things just for the sake of saying them. Their track record speaks for itself. If they say they are confident, it means they are confident. Usyk has been studying Fury and has been sparring constantly in every training camp with Ivan Dychko for years. Make no mistake, despite Usyk's upbeat and easygoing personality, he is a maniac when it comes to training and preparation.

Fury will be in a world of trouble if he ever steps in the ring against Usyk.

I kind of get the impression Fury and Usyk like (+ respect) each other, and the build up will be fun.

Just out of honest interest: are you an unpaid PR officer for Fury or related to him in any way? I've been around on online sports forums for well over 20 years at this point but the level of hyperboles and exaggerated claims you put in your comments is something I've never seen before. Your posts about Fury always read like some hagiography written about a cult leader so if you are genuinely not John Fury on steroids, I must admit that your fanaticism is absolutely remarkable.
