Look up duck in the Oxford English Dictionary and you'll find an image of Tyson Fury.

He realized his mouth wrote a check his arse can't cash and he's quacking his way out of it.

I actually used to like him but his act has worn thin, a good hate figure makes things interesting but have a feeling he'll plod along dodging the best and talking **** for most of his career.

Guys I think you can relax, Uncle Peter & Darklord Booth have agreed on everything in the last hour or so.

Announcement later this week & presumably press conference too

The Battle Of Britain is ON.

The hype will be insane and the fight pretty special too. No chance this will be one sided, like some think :good

This fight is never going to happen fury has no balls and his mouth is way to big for his talent. Hes messed up here he was only calling david haye out thinking never in a million years would he actaully want to box him as he was saying hed only fight a klitschko well now we've seen 'lukes' true colours hes ducked price to box rogan, called out wilder then said he doesnt deserve to box him and now is running scared from haye.

Even if it is signed and announced, it will not happen. Fury or Haye will duck out and claim injury. They just want the non-refundable training expense.

Price was purely a business decision. Not a duck.

    Wilder called out Fury.

Your statement about ducking Haye is going to look very silly soon.

What looks silly is Tyson Funny talking about an 80-20 split.

What looks silly is Team Funny declaring that if the fight wasn't signed by the end of June they would look elsewhere.

What looks silly is a 255-pound man fighting cruiserweights.

What looks silly is Tyson Funny repeatedly calling out everyone ... right after they sign to fight someone else, like a wee child on the lawn calling someone names after they have gone inside and shut the door.

TF had NO intention of going through with this fight. He goes on and on and on like a complete imbecile on his twtter, then Haye announces that Fury has turned down a 50-50 split and Tyson is suddenly Mr. Decorum, grumbling about how Haye is being "unprofessional" by calling him on it.

Haye backed him into a corner and beat him at his own game -- if Mr. Arse Clown doesn't sign now, he will be shown to be the duckweight champion of the world, so now he has to sign or tuck his tail and walk away.

Tyson's camp were on and on about how they had a plan to get an eliminator to put him in position to fight for the title ... and they ducked out when it was put in front of him. They wanted to use Haye to prop him up and then try to claim Haye was the one who didn't want to fight -- only Haye turned it around on them and now they have nowhere to hide.

I still don't think it will happen. Oh, they will announce it and sign, but either Tyson or Fury will claim injury and duck out.

This is what i can gather so far:

This fight has been under negotiations for a long time behind closed doors. Haye offered the fight to Tyson but with Haye getting the better % and Tyson refused the offer. Haye then changed the offer to 50/50 and Tyson agreed. The injury that forced Haye out of the Charr fight now looks very suspect, it now seems more likely he simply withdrew. Apparently without anything but a verbal agreement between the two camps (really?) Tyson also withdrew from his final eliminator with Pulev. Both teams put on a theatrical ifilm interview where they publicly "opened negotiations" to a fight that has in fact been in discussion for months. Out of the Blue at the eleventh hour Haye publicly says Tyson now wants 80/20 (which seems like a ludicrous offer) and Tyson seemingly confirms that. Peter Fury then tells a completely differnt story, he says the Haye camp delayed signing and then demanded the bigger % at the last moment. Peter Fury's account seems much more credible, perhaps Haye is close to agreeing the Vitali fight and so is delaying. However despite a good performance from Peter Fury my conclusion is that the fight is on, it was signed ages ago and this is the start of the hype (they can't even keep their stories straight!)

did this get picked up? From Adam Booths twitter (July 1st)

"Thx 2 a great chat with @PeterFury today, we are at the final stage. We agreed ALL major points, and I have sent the contract over to them!"
