...skip Wilder somehow, and fight... Winner of Joshua-Pulev (I am assuming it will be Joshua) Winner of Whyte-Povetkin Parker Ruiz (if he can slim down) Winner of Joyce-Dubois 4-6 fights over 2-3 years, depending on if he can get out of Wilder, which is utterly useless, and if Ruiz can get himself into some semblance of shape. That cleans out the division, and gets him one fight with a young gun from the next generation. A lot of people are calling the Usyk fight--I think Usyk is a great fighter but I don't see what the sense is in such a behemoth fighting a cruiser. Bad optics. Again, though, he should leave whenever he sees fit. If its two fights, its two fights.
Don't want Fury to retire like this. To be a true ATG top 5 you must have a sizeable no of title defences. As a Boxing fan and a Fury fan I want to see him clear out the division with everyone's name on his record. If Ali was alive and healthy he would be mighty proud of the gypsy king
Its there for him but I don't think Fury is greedy. I believe he realized what it does to him after the Wlad fight and he got that large sum of money and totally lost his mind. Not everyone can handle the freedom that comes from that type of money. Especially when you have or have had vices. Who is gonna tell you "NO" when you got a million dollars? Now times that by 80 and that big ass family and you have Naseem Hamed, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, etc.
I honestly couldn't care less about any of those fights other than AJ. Maybe the winner of JoyceVDubois but if its Dubois hes pretty young and would likely not be read for 2 or 3 years and Fury might be retired .
Little chance of him probably taking half of those fights. Sadly his resume probably won't be anywhere near as strong as it could be, due to fights like Schwarz etc.
It won't matter, though. If he beats Joshua, he has beaten the three greatest rivals of his era, which, if you go down and look at each individual champ, is something that very few heavyweight champs ever do. He'll be an ATG with a dynamite big three, a so-so 3-6, and very poor thereafter. So what? These fights are just my wish list.
