    Very strange move from him... Be interesting what the terms of the deal are and whether this now means purse bids for the Wilder fight

    It's a copromotional deal. So, it's rather Frank Warren has signed a deal with Bob Arum. But, essentially, yes, Tyson Fury will be promoted by TR in the US now.

    Good to hear, The Bobfather has been getting his **** together lately and doing a great job with his fighters, which is a far cry from the abysmal mismanaging that was going on before the ESPN+ deal. Hopefully Fury will fight here more often, he'll be a megastar in no time.Fingers crossed he doesn't get KTFO by Wilder beforehand.

    Could jeopardise fights with Joshua and Wilder though:

    And, yeah, it's a big acquisition for ESPN, they should be happy (especially if Fury beats Wilder in the rematch :smile:).

    At the same time, now we have:
    Tyson Fury on ESPN;
    Anthony Joshua on DAZN;
    Deontay Wilder on Showtime/Fox...

    How on earth will they fight each other in the future..? :dunno:smile:

    Is Dan Rafael frantically changing his scorecard for Wilder Fury?

    Definitely jeopardises the Joshua fight unless a purse bid is called at some point which will not happen if he is WBC champ. However Wilder fight is surely now going to pursebids. Would be hilarious if DAZN won the bid.

    I doubt AJ and Fury would want to fight each other in the US...

    'Biggest network'
    'Opportuunity to make biggest fights, they have to come to the Tyson Fury show'

    Frank:
    'We all want the rematch Showtime not the only game in town, changed dramatically, we have to sit down'

    Tyson
    'I want the biggest fights, the Wilder's Joshua's of the world'
    'This time you can't rip me off' (to Wilder)

    Sounds like they're going to fight a bum in the meantime :(

    This is great for Top Rank. They were very strong but they were desperately lacking in the heavyweight scene. But there's one major problem here...what happens to Wilder-Fury? Surely that is off now. I can't see Showtime and Moneygrabber Al giving in to their biggest rival and having this on ESPN. They are known for fiercely fighting their corner when it comes to TV rights..

    In some ways this is good, but in others it could be a disaster for heavyweight boxing. If Fury, Wilder and AJ's teams refuse to agree on TV rights, then those fights can't happen..

    "...Warren adds that they won't have Fury sitting around waiting for the bout to get done and will keep him active, likely in the US."
    Wow, that means, in fact, that the Fury vs. Wilder rematch won't happen, most probably. :shocked: Unless there's a purse bid.
