Fury sparring partner accuses Fury of removing padding from gloves for spars

    Warrants a response from Fury/Davison.

    We always hear about how Fury treats his sparring partners quite well at least financially so not sure what to make of this.

    They would not risk breaking his hands before a fight with the amount of money at stake. No comment and sue is the appropriate actions here.

    I don’t either on the back of this sole evidence and the point about protecting Fury’s hands is valid. However this guy has been involved in Fury camps for many years. It would be a bizarre lie to concoct. He’s an undefeated prospect himself.

    *Edit: correction on that last point, he has lost before and seems to be inactive.

    True.

    It makes you wonder if they’ve fallen out and self preservation/publicity has kicked in.
    I’d like to see how this develops.

    There sparing gloves anyway, they could choose to wear competition gloves

    There is a vid on youtube showing Nicholas A auditioning for * Creed. It sounds like the same guy, so I don't know what to make of that. Some have suggested that it's glove wear, but that does not look like normal wear. What would he get out of putting this out publicly? It would be a falling out with the Fury camp or at least making a bad mistake?

    * there are plenty more vids with him.

    Just had a look at Asberry’s IG. He posted the vid there and tagged in Top Rank and ESPN and demanded that sparring footage is released as he claims to have bettered Fury. Seems he’s dead serious about the claims.

    Ty Mitchell (Big Clifton’s son) disputing Asberry’s claims in his IG post.

    Think we need Big Kugan Cassius or Umar IFL Umar to get their cameras out and get a “raw, heated beef” exclusive with Asberry.

    This is a weird story.

    I fail to see how Fury would benefit from hurting his sparring partners. What, to get some good buzz going about his power? and risk hurting his hands before a fight. Strange one.

    Yep doesn’t make sense. Only plausible reason is if he had some sort of dispute or fall out with Asberry and wanted to “punish” him for it in the spar.
