HW boxing belongs to the UK & America, history dictates that. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/05/BoxChamps2012.02.PNG It's not xenophobic. It's just an observation. The Klitscko's are a stain on the history of HW boxing for boring the joint out Old man Lewis took Vitali out for the survival of the sport & Big Boy Fury came in to stop his younger brother. The bodybuilder might have lost Fury's belts to a cruiserweight but Fury sure as hell will get them back. Usyk is fantastic but he knows his place and that is at cruiserweight. Even when he loses to Fury it doesn't matter, he's already cemented himself. People may be entranced that little Usyk stomped AJ but a little fat man who wouldn't lay a glove on Fury did the same what 1 year prior? Do not be fooled.
Usyk is an absolute gentleman of the highest order, one of the most respectful, honourable, classy, fearless and likeable fighters in the game and even though I'm also Team Fury I do not appreciate him slandering Usyk's good name and impeccable reputation like that, even if said in jest. Fury himself has recently been subjected to a litany of baseless slanderous accusations and, whether you're friend or foe, if you take shots at Usyk on Serge's watch it's ON! and you'd better duck for cover even if you're The King or The Gypsies or The Baddest Man on the Planet because I ain't throwing rocks over the fence I'm throwing boulders.
just trying to build hype around the fight it's what he does but ye it makes him come across as a jerk ..
Times have changed tho .. The UK and America will always produce good HW fighters but the rest of the world is catching up especially Eastern Europe.. in the last 20 years they have been the more dominant force overall .. Vitali, Wlad, Usyk being the 3 standouts .. with men like Povetkin, Iggy, Maskaev, Chagaev, Liakovich etc all making their mark too.. whereas the US & UK produced the likes of Fury, Haye, Byrd, Joshua & Wilder as the standouts.. some excellent fighters among them but there's no US/UK dominance there imo.. Fury beat Wlad legit & it was an excellent win but if you watch his Jennings fight he was beginning to slide.
I don't need a history lesson And the HW titles belong to the best man for the job Just because 9 times out of 10 that so happens to a Brit doesn't mean a non-Brit of Brit Level ability doesn't deserve to own them He's not just talking about Wlad he means Usyk as well It's a bloody disgrace! Fury is clearly very concerned about the prospect of facing Usyk Because he knows Usyk will euthanize him and every man in his breed
In fairness, I don't think he's said that he wanted to kill an opponents like Wilder. I've trained with some world class heavies. None of them are all that nice without a camera in their faces. It's the fight game.
Well, you can't keep the titles when you fail drug test, don't keep up your license and walk away from the sport. He was popped for nandrolone before he faced Hammer in 2015. He should have never been able to even compete for the belts because he should have been suspended. The benefits of that drug carried over in to the Wlad fight, which was dreadful. The gains that you get from PEDS don't just dissipate when you pull the needle from your bum.
Well, that's evident. Lots of UK fighters get opportunities because of their fans. The UK fans are the reason a guy like Frank Bruno can get so many title shots. It's also why Fury and Whyte can get popped for PEDS and not get suspended. Baby Miller, with no fanbase, basically gets kicked out of boxing.
Fury is my favourite boxer of the last decade, but my god, some of the posters on here love swallowing any hot load he gives them
He should be the last person to accuse others of doing PEDs. Imagine Canelo calling Charlo a steroid cheat out of nowhere with no actual evidence. I'm willing to give Fury the benefit of the doubt but with stories like this one it's not looking great. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-Tyson-Fury-drugs-test-drops-allegations.html
