If/when Wilder dominates AJ's first conqueror and your former HW No.1 Andy Ruiz, will Fury's Wilder wins also be "great wins"?
Most people who don't like Fury will say he should have lost a close war as a green prospect against British level vet McDermott. Most people who don't like Fury will say that the referee should have waved it off immediately with the 2nd KD Wilder scored. Most people who don't like Fury will say the Wallin fight should have been stopped for "safety reasons", despite Wallin headbutting and raking the cuts. These are all technicalities, no one has actually beaten Fury. Fighters will have good and bad luck at times but Fury has been the underdog 4 times now and fought possibly the two biggest punchers in heavyweight history, away from home, as the B-side, 4 times and not lost once, despite all of the poor prep and bodily abuse. A fringe contender can have a great/lucky night but he can't do it over and over again. The overwhelming factor is ability, not luck.
No because he will claim the fat tub of lard that turned up in the rematch was actually the best version of Ruiz ever.
Wilder would certainly go up in my estimation if (big if) he beats Ruiz and the Furys wins over Wilder would become noteworthy.
So would the Wilder wins be "great wins", as you said Whyte was a "great win", despite Whyte being totally outclassed and useless? I guess that would have to be an additional three great wins as you've now decided that Fury did beat Wilder the first time after all.
Wilder would put wee Ruiz into the cheap seats are you joking ffs some of the things folk say I’m no joking you
that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t and Ruiz struggled past 50 year old Ortiz lol Ortiz who fought wilder would kill him ffs
You keep evading this question Mitch: would the Wilder wins be "great wins" for Fury, like the Whyte win, if Wilder beat AJ-conqueror, unified champ and your former No.1 heavyweight Andy Ruiz?
Wilder vs Ruiz: mutual opponent CV calculator Wilder KO3 Morales, Ruiz 59-55 Morales Wilder KO1 Liakhovich, Ruiz 98-92 Liakhovich Wilder RTD8 Arreola, Ruiz 118-109 Arreola Wilder KO10 and KO7 Ortiz, Ruiz 114-111 Ortiz Ruiz was also the A-side in all of these fights and fought these fighters after Wilder had KO'd them, so the scorecards flatter Ruiz and he beat these opponents by decision when they were older and more worn, often much older and much more worn. Arreola and Ortiz have commented on a Wilder-Ruiz matchup and both are strongly backing Wilder to win, for what it's worth. But in fairness to Ruiz he did drop Joshua 4 times and make him quit in 7.
You obviously only looked at the write up after Ruiz lost every round where he didn’t knock Ortiz over Ortiz was very poor and very old fragile as hell still outboxed Ruiz in every other round though boring rounds
