It is true. Joshua would beat him out the gate. I hope Fury fights someone a good deal easier, i mean he's really not all that experienced. At a stretch you could see him straight in with Parker, but even that's a risk. And he needs to get the weight off.
How many heavyweight champions have ballooned up +100 lbs and then come back to regain a major title?
I really don't think hes going to be effective. The weight a lone is hard enough to shift then hes got to sharpen his skills and get rid of rust. I honestly think hes 2 yr away from fighting elite if he started now and knucled down. I just don't see him doing it !
Maybe the Tyson of yesteryear would beat AJ but we will never know. This fat imposter won’t. No matter how many cans he crushes on his comeback before hand.
True. But.....we do have a heavyweight division that is lacking in skills. Charles Martin was a world champion. Wilder has horrible fundamentals and doesn’t do any Road work.
Only potential I could think of is George Foreman. David Tua would have balooned a similar amount but he was never relevant after his comeback.
I really hope Fury can overcome his problems and get back in the ring. Fury needs boxing to get better from his drug problems. Fury gas God given talent and it would be a shame to waste it. If Fury gets back in fighting shape and works hard he can beat Joshua and Wilder with ease.
if he can lose 50 pounds I will take him more serious... but I don't think he will ever fight again.. or atleast not win a belt. if he does fight.
talk of him vs. the Cannon ... embarassing. I would of liked to see ole Briggs win a winable fight before he got blasted outta there again. After the Haye shun, and the juiced gills for Slow Fres, seems he will be thrown to a wolf or two if he decided to stick around more than 1 more match.
Joshua will reign. He beats Parker and Wilder. Ortiz and Povetkin will be avoided. Fury will not return.
