If fury does vacate.. how does Wilder v Whyteleafe go for the vacant WBC? Wilder vs Whyteleafe | Boxing News 24 Forum (boxingforum24.com)
Funny how the belts are only useless when Fury fans talk about them. But any other time in history, they mean something haha. Fury has a 13 year career and we cannot name 5 good boxers on his record. Yet he is the man? Yes, he is the con man
It wouldn't be vacant, as Whyte would be elevated from interim to full WBC champion. And I believe Wilder would be like the 3rd or 4th in line for the mandatory spot. But if it would happen (The Haymon makes Sulaiman a deal he can't refuse), I expect a come from behind KO from Wilder.
I'm not particularly a fury fan...I don't like sanctioning bodies n I feel the sport would benefit from them being eradicated
As for the rest of your argument..fury is he man who beat the man....just as usyk will be if he beats Fury...... Wouldn't you want to see the top man lose and the torch passed? I get more satisfaction in this sport seeing someone dethrone the top dog than them...losing their belt for for a variety of reasons etc.... How many times have we missed having 4 belt unified champions cos of sanctioning body politics WBC,wba,ibf,who...corrupt as ****
Fury taking steroids is just as corrupt. Fury ducking his mandatory is just as bad too. I want to see everybody fight everybody. Not just this guy against that guy. There is no excuse for a guy like Fury who has 1 title defense, to skip his mandatory. None. It is a duck move. Nothing more
Take them away and what do you have? Fury, a guy with 1 title defense and 7 fights in 6 years trying to swerve another top contender. I will ask l like I've ask others on here. Can you name Fury's top 5 opponents? Hard to come up with 5 names isn't it? So how does that make him bigger than the belts?
I just said I'm not a fury fan..but if I could fight usyk ..the number 2 in the division over dillian ****in Whyte...I'd drop that belt as well. N mentioning fury on drugs..your picking a funny battleground when Whyte failed 2 tests.
Not think Whyte could do more to earn or force a fight with Fury... getting iced off povetkins ghost hasn't done much to make people feel like he's the man to beat at heavy.
They both did it. But you guys only ever mention Whyte when it comes to that because Fury got all of you to look the other way at his fake mental illness and depression crap. It worked apparently. If Fury doesn't fight Usyk and he gets stripped, then it isnt a unification fight is it? No it's not
And Fury can do more than fight Seferi, Pianeta, Schwarz and Wallin to be called the best. Right? Whyte has done plenty of earn his shot. Fury has done very little to try and say he is bigger than the belts.
Making declarations on what you believe the mental state of someone to be or not be is really stupid. You have 0 personal connection to Fury and it's just an odd thing for you to make up. It's pretty clear to anyone with even a vague understanding of mental health, that Fury has displayed tell tale signs of it for years. And yes, it is an incredible story to overcome the odds and heat Wilder. Credit where credit is due and stop slinging mud you idiot.
