Fury to be left out in the cold?

Yep and Warren and Fury know it as well. Wilder is now perversely something of a bodyguard for AJ.

 

I really worry about Fury, warren needs to get the rematch with Wilder done quickly! Xmas won’t help at all and I can see fury falling into that party time/weight gaining slippery slope again.

Very little chance of Fury vs AJ happening with Warren and Hearn in charge

 

Anything other than Fury vs Wilder 2 will be second rate. Wilder will have to shamelessly swerve Fury to go straight in with Joshua, and Joshua will be fighting a guy who's been handed a boxing lesson in his previous fight.
I realise that Fury's performance (and bottle in travelling to America) against Wilder has Hearn and Joshua scrambling to save face, but sabotaging a rematch that needs to take place isn't the way. Matchroom had their chance to match AJ and Wilder, they didn't or couldn't do it. Events have passed them by and it's at least partially their fault.

 

Nah , everything is fine , Tyson has just proved that he is still the lineal world champion , all roads lead to him and now with social media being king there is no way he gets sidelined.

If anyone is in trouble its AJ as I can see Fury Wilder fighting out a trilogy and AJ facing bums to half empty stadiums.

 

In my eyes he should let AJ & Wilder have a hard fight adding miles to their clock and then sweep in for a mega fight with the winner for all the belts. The risk is the belt holder might not give him a crack but in the eyes of the public surely they would need to as there would be doubts to whether they were a true champ without beating Fury.

If Fury keeps his motivation up in 9 months time he would be hugely ready for the belt holder.

He's looking ever more like the real champion he's always said he is, even to the casuals, like I said he would if he was to beat Wilder.
He's the man who beat Klitschko and ushered in this era.
AJ holds 3 belts that Fury never lost in the ring. The 'champions' he beat were Parker and, errr, Martin. LOL
Wilder still holds a belt by virtue of the gift draw.

Honestly, anything can happen in this triangle now. Expect plenty of conflicting reports and rumours for the next couple of months.

 

Fury is the real champ so there is nothing to worry about. He will beat Wilder comfortably in the rematch and stop AJ late to become undisputed champ.

 

Anything can happen apart from Joshua Fury fighting anytime soon, and not on account of Tyson.

Fury is a nightmare opponent in every way. He totally embarrassed Wilder pre fight, making him look like a raving lunatic and even turning some of his admirers against him, which said admirers admitted on here, having witnessed Wilder's behaviour at the final presser.

Fury then made Wilder look amateurish for the best part of twelve rounds, earning a win but receiving a dodgy draw, turning boxing fans against Wilder even more. Check out Wilder's social media, he's being lambasted.

Wilder's profile has risen, but his popularity has deteriorated IMO. Incredible after a classic heavyweight fight.

 

Fury looked great but has nothing to show for it. Still, if he is willing to act upon his real value, I'm pretty sure Joshua gives him a shot to get his former belts back.

 

I hope I'm wrong mate but from a pure business POV he's very threatening competition. He's more than a danger to Joshua's 0 plus he has that all important public story buy-in that millions in PR money couldn't get you at the moment. Companies that endorse athletes are very fickle.

Thing is Eddie's in a sticky wicket with this one as he can only dodge for so long before the casuals turn full circle. Again I hope I'm wrong.

@Unforgiven, actually mate I think you're right. It could well happen. I suppose what I mean is Hearn doesn't want it but he may have to on account of losing face.
