It would be funny to see the bodybuilder Joshua, getting on his hands and knees begging for Fury to fight him. And the gypsy king just turning his back to him to say no.

Correct. I too think he would duck Joshua yet again.

It's pretty clear that Warren and fury don't fancy their chances against usyk and are afraid of losing the title to usyk, because after that the money for the fury vs aj fight will go drastically down. That's why he ducked usyk and will try to fight aj with his wbc title to make the big money.

Fans would not pay as much for two losers to usyk fighting each other than the lineal wbc and unbeaten champ fighting aj

If Fury attends, and if Joshua wins, that fight will happen this year.

Hearn and Warren will stage it in the Middle East in the late summer.

A Saudi prince will cut a huge check for it. (Which was the whole reason why Fury-Usyk didn't get made.)

Hearn, Joshua and Fury have wanted this match (and all this money) since the last time they were set to fight in the Middle East got blocked by Wilder's arbitrator.

And everyone who has been complaining and moaning for the last couple weeks will gleefully tune in.;)

Bottom line: They just can't stage huge heavyweight fights in the UK and give both fighters an equal split of the money because the pot isn't big enough due to UK fans refusing to pay a high price ($90) for PPV. That's the WHOLE reason.

Bash fighters day and night for "not taking less to make history," but the truth is both fighters can't get a monster payday in the UK if both fighters have to split the purse 50-50.

Sometimes you can't have nice things if you aren't willing to pay for them.

It's pretty clear Warren and Fury dodged the Usyk fight because the Saudis weren't going to cut them a huge check.

    That's all.

Fury made more for Whyte and Chisora than he would've made for fighting a unification with Usyk because Fury basically got 90 percent of the money against those others.

In the end, that's really all it came down to.

When they thought the Saudis were going to write a big check for it, the fight was on. When the Saudis decided not to, it was off.

The one that’s begging is fury. He needs Joshua to be able to get that Saudi money as he clearly can’t get it on his own (even as part of an undisputed fight)

I can't tell about UK, 90$ is a high price for a PPV no matter where you are. But it won't be limited to UK only, if such fight happens for which reason I doubt the concern is the potentially low number of PPVs. Plus, who knows what the price would be...

Fury is just delusional. He is nowhere near that big of a draw he thinks he is. That, and he is scared shitless of Usyk. Not in a physical sense, not afraid of getting physically hurt or something. But he soils his pants at the thought of what the middleweight beating him and taking his 0 would do to his career and legacy. He obviously sees Usyk as a huge risk, and I'm pretty sure even his most rabid nuthuggers see it by now. They would never admit it openly, of course, but I see it on every social media platform that even massive fans of his are pissed off at him and most are turning their backs on him.

It is all financial. He didn't want to make less for a Usyk fight (that's supposed to be huge) in the UK than he made for a fight with Whyte or Chisora.

    That's it.

If Fury actually fights someone at the end of April, it will sell out, he'll take 90 percent, and he'll make more money against TBA than he would've made splitting half the money with Usyk in the same ring on the same date.

Fans like to ramble about "he's afraid, he's mental, he is weak, he is this, he is that ..." but they (UK fans) don't like to bring up THEY are the reason the fight didn't happen in the UK because THEY don't want to pay double what they typically pay so both fighters can split the money and make more than they would for a Chisora fight.

If UK fans were willing to pay the equivalent of $85 to $90 for a huge PPV (like US fans do) ... Fury-Usyk would be happening in the UK in a couple weeks.

But fans there have outright said they never will. And the promoters know that.

So, instead of admitting it's on them, they bash the fighters, accuse them of being scared and say they'll never support them again.

(And those fans who complain the loudest are often the ones who never pay for PPVs to begin with, so they aren't "supporting" them in the first place. Mainly just a lot of folks who are throwing a tantrum because they didn't get something for FREE again. ;))
