Everyone needs to understand that both Usyk & Fury are retiring or pretty much retired. They have done everything they want. Now both are simply waiting for the big Saudi paycheck...and that will be it. Depending the fashion Fury beats Usyk in will determine whether Usyk bothers with a rematch. Everyone is so harsh and lack empathy for these guys. body smashed to pieces. Neither can train at full tilt anymore.
pretty sad when who is watching the fight gets a thread. just shows 99% of the time, there is nothing worthwhile going on in boxing.
Wearing a wrestling mask, calling out any, yes any of you dossers, to step in the ring with the Gypsy king, wherever, whenever. But specifically not Usyk and boxing. Dossers.
No, he screamed about how awful AJ and Usyk are and how he could beat both in one night from the comfort of a bar surrounded by people who had likely been star****ing that entire night. I doubt he's going to be ringside for this one either, the topic creator likes to joke around with threads like this.
so you are making the excuse that Fury is past prime, even though he is younger than three of his five biggest wins were when they fought and roughly the same age Wilder was the second fight.
It's clear you don't know or rather don't understand Usyk's attitude at all. You wrongly assume that since Fury is a cowardly conman chasing money and has no other interest in the world, others operate the same way. Usyk hasn't finished yet. He won't stop until he becomes undisputed at HW too. And he doesn't care about Fury either. Fury is not his goal. Fury is only interesting for him because Fury is the belt holder as of now. It has been long said by Team Usyk, even before Fury won that belt off of Wilder, that Usyk wants to be undisputed at HW too. That's his main goal. He beats whoever holds the belts at that particular time. And that's why he is still active. He earned more money with the Joshua rematch than Fury could ever hope for earning with a single fight. Once again, his approach was proven right: build a legacy, take on the best fighters for the belts and the money will follow. He would have retired already if it wasn't for the gutless ogre not facing him. You keep talking about the Saudi pay cheque - Usyk already had his, and he was happy with whatever he was offered early this year too. He signed his part of the deal, it was Fury who turned it down to take the fight to the UK for a fraction of the Saudi amount. But Fury wanted the fight, surely. After all, it's only logical that on the one hand, you and other Fury cult members claim that the ogre just wants the best deal possible, and on the other hand he turned down what would have been the biggest payday of his career, to take the fight to the UK for a tiny amount in comparison. Makes perfect sense. Usyk is here to stay until he gets that belt. He will beat the living daylight out of Fury to get it or he beats someone else who holds it at the time. It doesn't matter to him who the opponent is. I know it's an uncomfortable feeling for Belly fans but he won't stop, mate. No matter how much you want him to stop or how much Fury will try to run away, he won't stop until he gets what he came for. Don't let the happy-go-lucky, easy-going attitude of him deceive you. Fury fears the man exactly because he is everything Fury claims to be but never was: a relentless warrior. If you don't want to see Fury battered into irrelevance, your best bet is to hope that he gives the belt up voluntarily or retires or whatever. If he doesn't, his gappy teeth boogeyman will come for him, mate. It's not a question of if but a question of when. Fury can run and hide behind exhibition bouts and fake mental health issues, but Usyk will come for that belt. You better hope Fury throws that belt in a bin Bowe style, that's his only way out of facing Usyk eventually.
