That's a laff, considering most of this forum has accused him of desperately hoping for AJ to win to evade the LITTLEMAN.

Is there anything Tyson Fury can do to satisfy his detractors?

When did Fury retire? I don't recall him vacating the WBC belt. I could have missed it though.

That website is not giving anything new. All we have is the Fury tweet and Warren saying the fight could be made but nothing confirmed. December makes a lot of sense though and is perfect. It makes too much sense for boxing and that's why it won't happen, lol. Usyk can take the whole of September off and still have all of Oct, Nov to train and promote. Good for him to stay active since he's 35 and also Fury. I expect a lot of BS back and forth and it will be probably next April before anything. Hope I'm wrong.

He didn't. But Ring thought he did so they removed his belt. Now they have to prepare to give it back again for the third time, even though he hasn't lost yet.

    Warren:

"It's a fight that I think will be made because both teams would like to see that happen.

Usyk said after the fight that it's the only fight he's interested in, and it's certainly the same case with Tyson.

It's just a matter of where it will generate the most income because it's a unique fight, a historic fight.

It's the first time for God knows how long that the four belts are on the line. Both fighters are undefeated. The whole world of boxing will be captivated by this fight."

Arum had been dropping expectant allusions to Fury-Usyk for a while, also, citing conversations he'd had with Tyson.

Fight is going to happen. Always was going to happen.

These are the words of a man who has been beaten down by boxing scheduling over many years. I feel you, and unfortunately agree completely.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Prepare for the threads " First fighter to ever regain the Ring belt 3 times!" If that's even true, I have no idea, the Ring belt doesn't mean much to me.

Saying you're retired and actually vacating a real belt are two different things. I wish people would stop eating up all this bs. I read on another site that Fury did indeed vacate the Ring belt. Not sure what the angle is but he never retired.

it disappointing if this fight is delayed into the next year.

Ring Mag isn't Lineal, I see now where your error is.

Jeffries wasn't defending the lineal championship against Johnson, because he'd retired.

Louis wasn't defending the lineal championship against Charles, because he'd retired.

Ali wasn't defending the lineal championship against Quarry, because he'd retired.

Ali wasn't defending the lineal championship against Holmes, because he'd retired.

Vitali wasn't defending the lineal championship against Peter, because he'd retired.

Fury wasn't defending the lineal championship against Seferi because he'd retired.

Fury won't be defending the lineal championship against Usyk, because he'd retired.

Also, the annual ring mags are a great tool to use, but they only tell you 1/12th of the data at any given time, and they are prone to human error. I've updated them myself for the last few years and it's very tedious, mistakes will get made. Try not to rely on them too much when making posts. Sharkey and Heeney fought before Tunney retired, in fact Tunney defended against Heeney after that fight.

    Wladimir, Wilder, both defeated.

Joshua could've gotten it, but he blew it.

Though, he'll probably still get it eventually, if his bounceback matchmaking is judicious.
