I hope it's Chagaev but he would be a tough fight for Fury

I personally think that Fury should steer clear of even a shot Chagaev. Just for the moment. Mormeck is the right fight, guaranteed win, some name recognition.

Chagaev is the only one that could trouble him.

Mormeck doesn't pose much of a threat, just keep him on the end of his jab and Fury is home free...

I rather see him face Liakovich or Chag.
I do not agree. I think Liakovich could be a danger also.

I'd love to see Chagaev or Liakhovich roll back the clock and pull it off somehow, but I think Fury has too much for any of these guys now. They're all good opponents for him now

Fury - Chagaev or Fury - Liakhovich would both be good fights for Fury to learn. They have enough skill and toughness to make Fury work for it while simultaneously over-the-hill enough to not be too dangerous. Neither one possesses excellent power, so Fury is unlikely to be afraid of a "puncher's chance" knockout. Liakhovich, recently, stated his willingness to be a gatekeeper to the next generation. I find this sad in a way, because I still remember his excellent war against Brewster.

Better not be Mormeck! Fury can sod right off if it is. The guy looked like a midget next to Wlad ("French Mike Tyson") yeah right Wlad! you fought a 5ft 10 former light heavyweight who was KOd by Haye years ago.

If camp Fury take this fight and try to hype it the same way, he loses all respect. He will learn nothing from knocking him out. It's like the guy just wants bum fights for the rest of his career.

All very solid foes, 2 of 3 have Klitschko experience all 3 have world title experience

Chagaev gave Povetkin hell and almost won that fight, he may be able to even beat Fury huge respect if he beats this guy

Liahovick kinda over the hill, gave Helenius a real battle but got his ass kicked vs Jennings probably will fight hard and give Fury hell if given the opportunity

Mormeck a small fighter but an experienced one, Klitschko handled him in 4, Fury a power puncher should attempt to do it faster to turn heads

Personally I appreciate the honesty, and the willingness.

He's shown respect for the sport by saying that imo

There's money to be made in that role, but you rarely hear the words pass the fighters lips.

When Nevin Pajkic with 5KO's can drop you flat on your back just about any HW has a punchers chance. Chagaev has respectable power and even though he was really out of shape against Zumbrun he still looked sharp and completely destroyed the guys face.

Liakhovich looked completely shot against Jennings. No speed, no reflexes, no defense. Fury would ruin him at this point imo.

Christ, I hope it's not Mormeck. There are enough decent fights for him without having to go for a former Cruiserweight whos shot to ****.

Chag would be great fun to watch!
