Tiresome Story won't fight Joshua, even though he's done at the top level he, still represents some form of risk.

One of the safest ways to spot an absolute pelican is when they say "Oh, what a genius Fury is, he is so smart with his gamesmanship".

That fat fraud probably didn't even finish primary school. Even for an athlete, he is remarkably thick. Just because he can trash-talk a bit it doesn't make him clever whatsoever. Just look at the way how spectacularly he miscalculated the amount of BS he could get away with. Even in the UK he is loathed and despised at this point after his shameless ducking of Usyk. And their master plan to try to undo the damage? They blame Usyk for "turning the British public against their own".

Imagine that - a foreigner who barely speaks English turning the British public against the British fighter, lol. That's the best Team Fury could come up with :D Uneducated idiots, the whole lot of them.

I do agree with all of that, but the Fury's also know if he knocks out Ngannou and then beats Usyk all will be forgotten and he will become a beloved legend all over again. That is their play here in my opinion, but that is a big IF he fights Usyk.

Fury is a wealthy man with a passing interest in boxing. He should be stripped of the title for the good of the sport.

He is a Matchroom shrill - so is clearly pushing the story out at the behest of Hearn

Yeah I dont think he intends to fight Usyk.
Usyk just needs to deadline him, after which Fury can hang his head in shame for the rest of his life for ducking.
He definitly shouldnt play his game and let him age him out.

So, your reasoning is that somebody who left school at 11, yet went on to amass a £100m fortune whilst creating independent revenue opportunities for his wife, brother and even his crackpot father is thick? I'd have a think about that whilst you are writing your next thousand posts about him.

Comon misconception is that rich people are smart. Usually they are just gifted at something that brings in a lot of money. Especially in the entertainment industry.
A heavyweight boxer that does well and can talk good is always making money. Doesnt mean he is smart. Floyd cabt read and can barely write his name but since he is a great boxer he made plenty of money.
Stupid people can be shrewd though and con people.

In that sense Fury been able to change public opinion on him with the mental health campaign. Even if it probably wasnt genuine it made him a lot of money and changed public image to the point where people are interested in his fights, before wilder 2 nobody cares about him, even in the uk. Especially compared to AJ.
He had everything, all he needed to do was fight Usyk, finish it off with a domestic AJ fight and he can retire or fight Chisora or mma guys for a while. Nobody would care and he would have the respect of the people, his boxing status, money, everything.
But he threw it all away... now he is just a rich coward. He can still change it but the window is closing very rapidly and he basically need to do a 180 and be a warrior after his mma farce.

So, your reasoning is that amassing wealth = proof of intellect? Dear oh dear. How old are you, mate? Do you actually know how the entertainment industries, including sports industry, work? Do you know how many millionaires and celebrities seriously believe that the Earth is flat?

This. How on Earth the handful of remaining Furyette fanboys can seriously think that a man who destroys his public image and popularity that fast with such bad decisions is intelligent? Fury believed his own hype, he thought he could get away with everything but he failed spectacularly. His downfall is not only unprecedented in boxing but in the whole of sports. Even when he went to prison, Mike Tyson never lost popularity like that.

We have people in the world like Terence Tao, Jennifer Doudna or William James Sidis but since Fury is immensely more wealthy than them, it means Fury possesses superior intellect. Lol. This "wealth = proof of intellect" argument is probably the most idiotic thing I've ever read on this forum and that is quite an achievement.

Given the horrendous track record of failed promises regarding fights, thread titles like this are ridiculous.
