'BOXING IN TRYING TO WIDEN FANBASE SHOCKER'

What you are forgetting is that Fury has lived and fought in Ireland long before he turned pro.

Here he is near 5 years ago fighting for an Irish club (Holy Trinity in Belfast) over 5 years ago.

No. My logical and non cultural marxist way of defining ethnicity is quite simple really. One of your parents have to be say English for you to be English.

The Roma originate from India yes. With Fury not being a member of the Roma I don't see what this has to do with anything though.

Tyson Fury, born and raised in england, because it was also in a caravan he must be Irish. seems to have a ****ed up northern english accent that's like a throwback to the 19th century. Will not become a heavyweight champion and will attain nothing more than European level.

    Missed this part.

I heard a "fact" the other day that the last all-Irish born soccer team was in a 1976 European Championships qualifier.

1994 Republic of Ireland World Cup Squad
    Bonner (Irish)
    Irwin (Irish)
    Phelan (English)
    Moran (Irish)
    McGrath (English)
    Keane (Irish)
    Townsend (English)
    Houghton (Scottish)
    Aldridge (English)
    Sheridan (English)
    Staunton (Irish)
    G. Kelly (Irish)
    Kernaghan (English)
    Babb (English)
    Coyne (Scottish)
    Cascarino (English)
    McGoldrick (English)
    R. Whelan (Irish)
    McGloughlin (English)
    D. Kelly (English)
    J. McAteer (English)
