Fury will be remembered as a great boxer, but also as a hypocrite who hides under the guise of a good Christian and humanitarian, we have all seen in videos and posts how he defends himself by insulting and belittling other fighters...
The thing Fury hasn't realised is taking the **** out of Joshua/Wilder/whoever is funny when he's active and fighting good opponents but when he's ducking real fights its just pathetic.
Remember this was the Wilders Bum Carousel belt for 5 years... there's plenty of precedent behind the WBC allowing it's "champion" to take the **** with it's belt.
Just seen this online Yellow Belly has fought a grand total of SIX world title fights in his entire career Three were against one man Two were against fighters he'd previously battered and stopped with ease He's fought four men in world title fights And his next fight is against a MMA fighter who is 0-0-0 in boxing instead of giving the fans, including his own fans, the biggest fight in the sport, for the undisputed HW championship of the world, between two highly skilled undefeated HWs who are by far the best HWs of their generation Usyk has fought 10 world title fights in just 21 fights and 10 in his last 12 He's not ducked, dodged, or swerved anyone and he's not only been chasing the best and all the belts since he moved up to the world level but he's done so in their backyards religiously This content is protected Six of those were world champions and four undefeated His weakest opponent since moving up to the world level is Witherspoon who was a very late notice replacement who stepped in at five days notice after his original opponent popped dirty the week of the fight His next weakest is Chisora who Belly fought a shot version of in his last fight despite already having beaten him previously twice before. Look at some of the trash Belly has fought since moving up to the world level?
I'm not necessarily sure they are "by far the best HW's of their generation". They look like it, but I'm still not completely sure whether Fury's as good as he looks - what's he really fought since he unretired? A fraud with a third-rate resume, the corpse of a fringe contender (coming off the back of a brutal knockout) and the zombie of a decent gatekeeper he'd already beaten twice. So... whilst he looks like the real deal, it's easy to look like the real deal against opponents who aren't all that - has Fury just played the Wilder game by cherry picking guys with reputations better than their ability and then claiming to be more special than he is? Why else did he duck AJ and run a mile from Usyk? I'm starting to think there's a very real possibility that Usyk's already beaten the best of the rest, twice. AJ gets plenty of hate here, but he's got a solid resume and he's technically better than he gets credit for - his decline in aggression is unpopular (and possibly makes him less effective than he was, depending on the opponent), but in Usyk 2 in particular he showed a level of technical ability he rarely gets credit for IMHO.
Who on that list would you pick to beat the Chisora who Usyk fought again? All of them? You think cruiserweight Tony Bellew would've beaten the Chisora who Usyk fought? (I don't.) Marco Huck beats the Chisora who Usyk fought? (I wouldn't pick him.) Would you take Glowacki to beat the Chisora who Usyk beat? (I wouldn't.) Mike Hunter? (50-50, maybe. But Chisora has better wins than Hunter.). You'd take all those cruisers to beat the same Chisora who Usyk lost five rounds on two cards to? I think Gassiev right now would have a hard time beating Chisora now, let alone the Chisora then. And the Chisora now has taken a lot of beatings since then. Truth is, head-to-head, Chisora is one of the best people Usyk beat. Hell, Chisora may be as high as top three. He certainly isn't behind all those guys.
You can make a good argument for AJ>>Belly and AJ has certainly fought the better opposition between them, but Belly does or rather should hold three wins over the fourth best HW of the generation in their backyard and most would favour him to beat AJ. He is an excellent fighter but he also a massive bottle job Those four are widely considered to be the top 4 and it should be Usyk Belly AJ The Dosser But, like I said, you can make an argument for AJ over Belly but the three losses work against him
You read it. You just wouldn't pick most of them to actually beat the Chisora who Usyk lost five rounds to on two official cards. Bellew doesn't. Glowacki doesn't. Huck doesn't. And on and on.
I didn't read it I read enough to get the gist of what you were saying was and then I stopped because it was dumb and because it's YOU and whilst I don't dislike you and think you're an alright guy, and as you know very well, I don't take you remotely seriously and not without good reason either I spend more time reading my own posts than I spend reading other poster's ones, especially yours
True. Usyk might have already beaten the second best HW out there in Joshua. It's much easier to look good when you're carefully handpicking opponents. That he accepted less than 50-50 against Wilder but not against Joshua (who was the bigger money fight) tells you what his calculation was. And then running screaming from Usyk. The confidence he has in beating the most dangerous guys out there is surprisingly low.
