I’ve put my money where my mouth is gone for usyk stoppage at 5/1. I’m taking fury’s weight with a pinch of salt I think his legs and reflexes have gone anyways that’s why he changed style but that style won’t work against usyk I don’t think. I don’t think losing some fat isn’t going to bring the stuff that made him successful back.

fury has been down multiple times his last few fights but although I respect his recovery I think he was very lucky he was agaisnt wilder who was gassed, very inaccurate / wild and lacked technical
Ability to follow up and similar to ngannou never had skill set to follow up with the KO. I think fury will seriously dislike usyks work rate and speed and will possible take a knee after receiving a flurry to give himself a chance to recover but usyk has the skill, movement and speed to keep that pressure on and not give him chance to recover.

I did say to myself I would never bet usyk stoppage again after he took his foot off the pedal against a wobbling AJ as victory was in the bag that cost me money but hopefully he has desire to actually punish fury and also know he can’t be trusted to get the rematch from him as he’s got history of ducking rematches so can’t take risk of losing or leaving to judges etc

Thanks. I would certainly consider Krassyuk a reliable source

I was perplexed by the fact that Usyk didn't look noticeably different at that weight, him saying beforehand that he was going to come in heavier, and the fact he weighed in with his jeans on and was wearing that big metal crucifix.

Usyk warning that he should not be worried that he won’t leave him alone is on point in my opinion.[/QUOTE]

Thinking about it that way, you are correct.

Not to long to go now.

You're not sorry, Stevie, and I am not mistaken.

Why don't you just admit you're being disingenuous and I am correct ?

What was all that prodigal-son spiel about, if not an attempt to justify your fandom of Fury ?

This kind of recasting your motives is dishonest, and unbecoming.

Of course it's your prerogative to cheer for whichever fighter you prefer. That was never in dispute.

The discussion was around the 'why;'

And even there, none of us are compelled to give reasons for our preferences, but you had already done just that, so a continuation of that discussion is well within the scope of this forum's purpose.

No, Stevie, you don't know that because it's nonsense.

I have been on here for most if not all of the big fights and this is my second in reaction with you in the past ten years.

Before our last interaction in January, the ONLY other interaction I've had with you was in a Pac-Bradley thread back in 2014.

And regarding your faith, this is the first time I've introduced it into the discussion.

If you'll recall, it was YOU who told us about your faith in that mini-bio you inexplicably felt compelled to post back in January, a post where you ( for God only knows why ) told us about your wife, your job, your family, your salary, your wife's salary etc.

So maybe you need to consult a dictionary and look up the meaning of EVERY.

Not sure what this bit is about, maybe it makes sense to you.

No, Stevie. Yet more disingenuous misuse of language,

You find it annoying and triggering.

Try to be more precise (and honest) in your discourse.

If you are concerned about likes, then it might be wise to drop the disingenuous word games and try posting like a man of forty.

Half the posters reacting to you, take you for a teenage kid.

As with our exchange in January last, I get the distinct feeling that you either didn't read my post past the first sentence, or if you did, you got triggered by that first sentence and paid little heed to the bigger picture.

I'm a fan of both men, but as I explained, I have of late, found Fury's behaviour and ducking a bit tiresome, so I'll lean slightly towards Usyk. But I won't be the least bit unhappy if the big Gypsy King takes it.

I plan on enjoying the fight, regardless of which man prevails. Don't let me detract from your enjoyment by shaking your faith or questioning your judgment.

I'm hoping it will be an enjoyable bout and after all this waiting.
    It's only three hours away.

    Yeah !

    Enjoy !

    You too.

Let's hope it's worthy of the wait and the hype.

    May the best man win.

Enjoy the fight and what's left of the night, Stevie !
