Fury has been caught by practically every top fighters hes fought. The idea AJs not going to catch him at some point in the fight is a bit far fetched... and when AJ catches him hes going to finish him.

Lets see if Fury has it in him to make this fight happen. Doubtful.

It's the biggest fight in Boxing now, let's not lie to ourself. We have already seen Usyk - AJ and Usyk - Fury. We don't need to see another Usyk - Fury fight.
AJ - Fury needs to happen next or it won't happen at all, and this is going to leave a mark of cowardness on Fury and his resume.

I always thought Joshua would beat him. Even more so now.

Fury is not an "easy fight" for anyone. AJ has a chance of winning but he will have to dig deep.

Wilder and Usyk landed their best and he still survived. Can't see AJ doing something they couldn't.

Joshua beats everyone on paper according to his fans.

Just somehow struggles when it comes to applying his "skill" to a fight. Bummer.

Always favoured Fury especially post Wilder 2

But it’s hard to ignore he has a habit of getting hit, and the level of opponents he’s fought recently pre Usyk hasn’t done anything to support backing him, so it’s hard to judge where he actually is.

If Joshua lands clean on him he wins the fight.

Really disappointed we didn’t see the fight 3-4 years ago

I can understand the Wilder comparison, but Usyk? AJ is a level above Usyk in power and Fury was saved by the bell in round 9 while Usyk let Fury off the hook in round 10. Its possible AJ would fight cautiously against Fury but Id still like to believe if he has Fury hurt he would do a better job capitalizing on it than Usyk did (in round 10).

As for Wilder, todays AJ is an overall better fighter than Wilder and I think would do a better at finishing Fury off when he gets him hurt.

If he doesnt finish Fury off, I still think he hurts Fury enough in various rounds that it will make it hard for Fury to win the decision.

You want to talk about struggling to apply skills go watch Fury fight the 0-0 UFC fighter

Fury has struggled against multiple mediocre fighters...

In fact, what heavyweight in the last 15 years dont have fights they struggle in against lesser opposition.

    It happens. Welcome to boxing.

People seem to be forgetting that at the elite level Joshua's lack of skill always lets him down. He doesn't have that Wilder power, and he can't box like Usyk or Fury. He's an all-arounder who COULD beat anyone, but could very much lose to everyone too.

Don't forget he was saved by the bell in round 12 of the first Usyk fight.

If you think that was a proper contest with Fury taking it seriously, then indeed, welcome to boxing.

Better than being saved by the bell in round 9. Against an older Usyk.

    ...

As for at the elite level his skills let him down... hes only had one elite level fight and it was against Usyk. AJ put up a respectable fight against one of the best fighters of this era and came up short, so did Fury and everyone else whose fought Usyk, big deal.

Then he has one fight that is very good but sub elite, vs Wlad, and though he struggled there he was victorious.

Then 4 solid fights against Parker, Whyte and Ruiz x2... going 3-1.

Then a couple ok'ish fights against the likes of ngannou, wallin, breaz, ect.

Hes lost to two fighters in his career, and has had some struggles in others in fights he shouldnt have.

Same as almost every other heavyweight you can name outside of Usyk.

And right now is the best hes ever been, imo.

So no I dont think its fair to say he can lose to anyone, any more so than any heavyweight today can lose to any heavyweight, outside of Usyk whose special.
