Fury knocks Ali down at least once in this fight, the question is whether Ali can get up or not. If Ali does get up, Fury outpoints and outworks him every time.
Ali wasnt even trying with Wepner but I suspect you know this already. SO I ask you why you arent acknowledging what you already know.
so you deny you didnt just tag team with bcs, despite you both trying to put one over me in rpelies to each other and liking those replies each? ok - but the evidence is blatantly there for the world to see. good luck with your denial. Once again, you need a bigger group. Go recruit.
Ahhhhh, that ol chestnut eh, Ali was just getting rounds in ??? I suppose he was just checking out the canvas in round 9 too
Just because two elite posters happen to agree with each other, it doesn't mean the whole worlds against you Beryl !
But of course! Everyone knows that Muhammad Ali couldn't outbox a bigger, more skillful man than him. I personally think Ali would of given up on his game plan around round/s 7-9 and would be swinging for the fences at that point.
Ali way too fast and skilled. Wouldn't be surprised if he stopped Fury late. Fury would be dizzied, bloodied and may fall. Possibly a stoppage on his feet. I don't see Fury winning this in any way.
What people refuse to understand is that Fury IS Ali, just supersized by 5 inches and 45 pounds. Fury will never match the career heights and societal impact of Ali, but H2H Ali would have no chance whatsoever against Fury.
Never mind Ali, A prime Mile Tyson would beat Fury he wouldnt waste time like Wilder did he would get in close and knock his head off .
His style was about long range and keeping distance, he cant do that here I don't think, or to effectively anyway. Ali was bigger 99% of the time he fought someone, i'm intrigued by this match up though !
I would favour Fury. I think his height reach and movement would be too great. Fury isnt really a fighter that uses his weight but if he did, that could also be an advantage
This. If Zack Page, who was old and much smaller than Ali can counter and time Fury and Cunningham was able to drop Fury I don’t see where people get this idea that Ali would struggle to compete. Several guys on Ali’s resume would clean out Fury’s resume and even beat Fury himself. Fury’s a good fighter, but he still has a lot to prove before I can see him beating many of the great heavyweight champions of the past. Beating an old Wlad and not defending his titles and drawing with Wilder isn’t enough. Ali was on top of the heavyweight division for years while Fury hasn’t made it there yet.
