Fury is too massive, too crafty and would be mentally impervious to any of Ali's mind games.

Could you see Fury following Ali around like Foreman, or following Ali to the ropes in a lot of his fights? Nope, like you say, he's to cute

I can’t see him just simply being walked down if I’m honest. A guy who weighs over 210 pounds will still be able to hit and should be taken serious. Fury found that out against Cunningham who had a low KO ratio. Would Ali be as hittable as Cunningham was? Ali was very hard to catch and one tough guy . I know this fight is a difficult one for Ali, but I would fancy his chances. We might not agree about this, but hopefully we can agree that the Villa are doing well again lol it’s been good since Dean Smith arrived, let’s hope for a playoff finish at least. I hope you support them and wasn’t using the name to take the **** lol

Do you guys realize there isnt6 a fighter who could live with a 100 % prime Ali. We were denied 3 1/2 years of his prime for purely political reasons. He was not officially even allowed to train all that time. When he finally returned he was nowhere near the fighter he was but was still the best around
Read Ferdi Pacheco, his doc, tor's book. He diagnosed early Parkisons syndrome symptoms as early as Ali- Frazier III That's when he should have retired. Ferdi says he finally had to walk away as he was being forced to keep fighting They wanted the $$$$$$$$$ they didb care about Ali's health
Ali- Frazier III took everything from two great fighters
A prime Alui would literally clown Fury

Oh dear, can't use the typical 'big/stiff/no skills' argument here, can you? Yeah, let's get real, Ali would be dwarfed and if you rely on boxing not power and you're dwarfed against Fury, good luck. Ali would not be able to hurt a focused Fury. Cunningham is fast and couldn't get away from 2Fast2Fury, who really is quite fast. Fury has better defence too. Probably better stamina.

Ali gets outtalked, then outboxed, then beaten up. Then Fury out-sings him in the ring also.

A lot of these exalted golden age guys would get washed by mid tier talent theee days. Nobody wants to admit that, but it’s true.

The two problems fury has in this fight is he nullifies his height advantage by bending down all the time so those 5 inches won’t help him,and most of his movement is hip based not leg movement like a prime Ali, also for the first time since Cunningham he would be in with someone faster to the punch and much faster lateral, and in and out leg movement this coupled with fury not really being a big puncher to deter Ali would make it a very winnable fight for Ali.

    Trash talking, Ali would win.

The fight, think Ali disadvantaged in height and reach. That's almost 7 inches given away.

Imagine how important 7 inches is. I mean really think about it. 7 long inches.

When doing fantasy match ups like these you tend to go prime for prime so Ali weighed 210 lbs at 22yrs old, and up to age 24-25yrs fought at numerous weights upto and around 215lbs. After his exile went up and down in weight between 215-230 lbs depending on the opponent, ie fighting Frazier at 215 in 1971 Up to 226 to for Mathis and back down to 220 for blin in the same year, it’ is no secret that Ali’s best years were not seen so The truth is ALi in let’s say 68-69 with no lay off, (REAL PRIME ) weighing 220lbs would have seen a younger more active Ali carry that weight at similar speeds to the pre exile 212-215 ALi. So really there is only a 22lb difference between him and Fury I say that because fury s optimum weight is 242-5lbs not 260lbs, at that weight he’s no chance, Ali’s reach was often billed between 78-80 inch similar to Cunningham s and Cunningham had no problem catching fury, when you look at a David Haye at 220lbs against bellew he his ripped to shreds like a blown up body builder same as usyk will look same as Holyfield looked, now think to yourself if ALi trained with weights in the gym as long as them and took the same supplement ‘s or whatever they take how much do you think ALI would have weighed? Especially when you think ALI’S training was nearly all cardio designed to lose weight not gain weight (and we know muscle weighs heavier) it’s also true Ali’s walking around weight was around 230-40 lbs after the age of 29yrs all be it fat and overweight a bit like a modern heavy lol, so let’s say his best weight is 220lbs in 68-69 27 or 28yrs old no inactivity (REAL PRIME) at that weight imo he would have way too much speed and easy enough size to defeat Fury especially as he doesn’t use his height well because his (fury’s ) style is bending down at the waist losing that 5 inch advantage
