I'm intrigued to see the fight but there doesn't seem to be much interest?

    When actually is this?

To be fair its a re-match of a pretty boring fight which didn't need a rematch on a non mainstream channel with overpriced tickets.

So many errors have been made in the promoting of the event its untrue. There are about 400,000 fights on the undercard so that each fighter can sell a few more tickets.

I don't see why they have priced the tickets as a world title fight? Just crazy as neither of the headliners have big fanbases and casulas will be put off by the prices.

    "the power of sky sports"

    Also this!

Can't really argue with this, just a desperate gamble by a promoter who was trying to get his own froch groves event when it's about as relevant as Bradley skeete

Just for the record, I have no problem with Boxnation, it does what it does very well and airs boxing which otherwise would not be on TV.

However no Boxnation event will ever be able to grab the publics attention the way a Sky Sports event does, and this event is a prime example of this.

This would have sold more tickets and got more hype if it was on Channel 5

I honestly think this show will bust FW for good.

    Zero interest.

He's created about 2,546 undercard fights in the hope the boxers will sell the place out.

Prices for this event are a disgrace.

I'm sure the last I read it had done around 12k, what does the venue hold 20k?

Not looking good it has to be said.

And the pantomine meetings and shows have really scraped the barrel.

At the moment casual fans support Promoters not fights. Eddie Hearn has a bigger fan base than Amir Khan. People only want to go to Matchroom shows.

Does the Bellew/Cleverly rematch really need to happen? Absolutely not, certainly not this year. It can wait.

This fight is the end of Frank W.arren. Hopefully he'll go bust and people will be able to write his surname on this board again. What a ***** move that was by FW and ESB.

Yeah, why is that? As a newbie I don't really get why you can't type War ren?

It doesn't need to happen, no way. It will be over hyped to hell (it already ahs been)... BUT.. It will sell the Echo out weeks in advance despite what the undercard is (it won't need 15 fights with fighters selling tickets) & it will have multiple times more viewers on TV.

This. I genuinely don't see how this drives that many subs to Boxnation. It would have been better suited to Channel Five in front of an audience of 1 million plus than on Boxnation in front of an audience that likely won't be bigger than 100k.

Frank lambasts the lack of terrestrial boxing on TV and when he has a opportunity to put on a decent fight (not terrific) he puts it on Boxnation. I understand why this is the case (money) but it is a touch hypocritical.

If Chisora wins Fury effectively is in limbo as he has one fight left on the channel.

    It's done 13k tickets, hardly a disaster.
