Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn said a deal for the world heavyweight champion to meet Tyson Fury in an undisputed world heavyweight title bout this year is all but done, with a venue in the Middle East a front-runner to host it.

The deal is done, really -- without being signed," Hearn told the Times.

"The financial elements of the deal are done. We're talking through the broadcast situation, the only thing really now is to paper it."

So fighters have agreed a split and purses.. that's the simple part.

Now we have the broadcasters and that won't be easy, I think that's were problems start.

Hope so! I wanna see AJ go for the KO.
But Fury is a slippery character.

Easy when the money is right.

ESPN aren't moving an inch, down to Skysports/DAZN to make a deal with them.

Fury should be the first name on the poster and Fury should also walk in last into the ring otherwise I will not buy it

Lol, I like that. It literally means nothing.

I’m going to steal it and use it when I talk about the following:

    1. (On having sex with Scarlett Johansson), The deal was done, really, without the sex part.
    2. (Making a million dollar contract for the new Mike Tyson grill) The deal is done, really, without the signing part.
Good old Eddie Hearn, a man who uses thirty seven words when four would do. Does he still reek of taco meat and cheap aftershave?

There are rumours that Fury's deal with ESPN doesn't include fights outside America. Therefore, Fury could fight Joshua in the Middle East and DAZN USA could broadcast it.

The broadcast situation should be simple, whoever offers the most money should get the rights. ESPN or DAZN can bid for the US rights and Sky and BT can bid for the UK rights.

I certainly hope this hapend before either man starts losing belts

It’ll be the first unified champion since Lewis.

I hope the various title suits behind the scenes don’t come up with some of their usual mandatory demand BS and ruin this historic fight before it happens. Mandatories should take a backseat to unification

Firy by late TKO if it happens
