In their respective last fights, Fury and Joshua proved many wrong by doing what many said they would not be able to do. Joshua outboxed Ruiz on the backfoot by sticking and moving for 12 rounds and Fury came forward and put pressure on Wilder, dropping him twice and winning a 7th round TKO.

Since then, from what I've seen, the general consensus has been that Fury is more versatile than Joshua, but could this be because of the more exciting nature of Fury's win or is he truly more versatile?

In your opinion, who is the more versatile fighter between Fury and Joshua?

Also I am not asking about who wins in a fight between the two champions, nor am I asking about who beat the better opponent.

    I'd say Fury.

I've seen him stop Wilder fighting on the front foot. I've seen him beat Wlad K fighting very defensively off the back foot. And I've seen him make Chisora quit fighting entirely out of southpaw.

AJ's primary style is pretty basic. He's been more back foot orientated for the most part since fighting Wlad, but hardly changed his style up massively. I think the most drastically different he has fought since then was in the Ruiz rematch.

    So for me, Fury.

Both did well in adapting. I made posts on how Fury should attack Wilder in the rematch because Wilder seems to get people when they are just looking at each other. Fury should go at him to not let Wilder comfortably throw his bombs from distance. I was told I was crazy and that you shouldn't go at a puncher. I was pleasantly surprised that he did exactly that.

I'm an adapter. Put me in the jungle i'd come out a millionaire wearing a chinchilla. Stick AJ in the jungle he'd get eaten by a lion.

Inside, outside, Front foot, Back foot. Dog war, Technical boxing match, Fury runs this division.

AJ is a big stiff idiot. Basic predictable combinations. Slow feet. Low IQ. No ability to adapt on the fly.

AJ got flattened by a 5'10" 300 pound midget.

Joshua is the opposite of versatile which is why he lost to the fat slob Ruiz

It's funny how people are taking the Andy Ruiz II performance as a reference for versatility, as if it's difficult to circle a 20 stones obese man who's at least 7 inches shorter and whose reach is a lot less.

AJ's looked like trash in the Ruiz rematch

He can't throw punches when moving

He needs to be stationary & prefers to be stationary.

Fury will run circles around him.

It's like Floyd Mayweather Vs Victor Ortiz difference of levels & adaptability.

It's funny how people are taking the Wilder II performance as a reference for versatility, as if it's difficult to stop a man who's 40 lbs lighter than you, has very poor technique and a questionable chin

Fury. It’s not even up for debate is it ?
Joshua did something different in beating Ruiz. Although staying away for 12 rounds is hardly versatile.
    Ultimately time will tell.
