Fury V Makhmudov announced for 11th April.

Thinking about this some more, I think wel know after the weigh in how difficult of a fight this is going to be for Fury. If he comes in overweight we have seen him try and rely on basically slugging it out or doing a poor imitation of himself. I think he still wins but slugging it out with Makhmudov is a little crazy despite Makhmudov being limited as he is.

 

Fury is on weight, he didn't balloon up after Usyk losses. He will box madovs face off then face AJ, Kabayel, Wardley or Usyk. AJ or Wardley is wether he wants money or a belt.

 

Sure.....he just casually can decide if he wants another title shot or not.
It's 2026, the myth of Fury is over. He's 37 and on the tail end of a long career decline.

 

He surely did look fat as hell on his first training clips.

 

I'd say this will be competitive, Fury looks like a hog wallowing in the mud

Fury's last win will be 2 1/2 years ago by time this fight occurs.
And that was a close call against 0-0 Francis Ngannou.

A lot of people overlooking Mak in this one. He has a real shot here especially if Fury comes in looking very faded which is quite likely.

 

Mak fights with both his hands lows and flat footed. The only thing we will learn from this fight is if Fury who is faded because his elbows are shot still has the ability to KO someone...because 2020 Fury would KO this man with ease for fun...

 

Mak is terrible but this is a reasonable fight given Fury's age and the layoff.

If he struggles he should probably call it a day.

 

Usyk is the best heavyweight in the world.

 

I've been watching boxing long enough to know that fairytale endings very rarely happen. Fury has been out of the ring, is getting older, is past his peak, and hasn't lived the life. Even if he wins this one I can't see him faring well, ultimately, the longer he carries on for.

 

You say Fury is "on the tail end of a long career decline", yet you also say "it is difficult to take Fury's record seriously."
