His career has been declining since Wilder II. He's fought a laughable string of bums since then and then lost twice to Usyk. Did you see him get knocked down by an MMA fighter (multiple times, but he got saved by a bad slip call from the ref).

You're one of the few Fury fans left. Remember when he was the ATG H2H king? I was calling BS then and laughing now.

He's still the second best heavyweight in the world. If he's a bum what does that say about Usyk at heavyweight?

This fight seems fine for Fury who is over a year out of the ring coming off back to back losses.

There were a handful of Joshua fans going on about how Jake Paul is a smart fight because a free training camp and zero risk fight will get him back into the swing of things. Fury can't win with the haters LOL

How is he the second best heavyweight in the world?
His most recent win was a 10 round decision aagainst a 0-0 Ngannou, October 2023.
Before than Chisora, December 2022, and Whyte, April 2022.
    Before that Wilder.
All those names were even older than him, and well outside the top tier now, if they were ever in it.

It's now 2026. Fury has done nothing in this era.

Does anyone think Makhmudov will be paid to take a dive before the mega fight Fury vs AJ?

I think it's a good come back fight. I guess the problem is when you have some still making out like he is the second best in the division, it looks very weak.

It's more of an issue created by the Ring (Turki) not wanting him to lose his ranking and his fans not accepting reality.

The opponent is fine as a come back after back to back losses.

Doesn't matter. Nobody else has beaten him, the rest either all have multiple losses or haven't fought enough people of note to go above him. He's also the only one to put Usyk in trouble in their first fight, further highlighting his skill.

Who else would you put above him at this point?

He gave Usyk his hardest fight and has no other losses. Who else is better? He's also Usyk's best win.

Mahkmudov isn't that good. He wouldn't need to take a dive to get soundly outboxed.
