Everyone thought Fury had won? Had they ever watched boxing before? He won three rounds at the absolute most in the second one. He did a bit better in the first but was still beaten comfortably.

Looks like the other fighters are buzzing. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Fury,s became tedious and i,d probably much rather see him happily retired but hes a top fighter imo. Took a real one off in Usyk to get the better of him. Good comeback fight as well. If Furys anywhere near where he was he should make the big man look cumbersome...but still potentially a dangerous fight. Must be the only one that doesnt want a fury v joshua fight. Waste of time at this point. The big question was who would win when they we,re both around their prime. Now its just a case of who,s more depleted. Pretty much no bearing on who would have won at their best. Would much rather see Fury take on Wardley/Dubois winner and Moses at some point. People can say what they want imo....Furys a natural. He can win them fights. Finish off with Joshua or Usyk. I cant see him beating Usyk. But a throw of the dice for a last fight. Usyk running out of people to fight...fury at least gave him a competetive contest.
Benn looking drained. The gambler in me is tempted to put something on Prograis now. Rick Reeno still dressing like a little old lady in Miami.
Makhmudov didn't lose a round to Dave Allen but Dave Allen is area/English level. David Price, who was a fringe European title level boxer, beat a better version of Dave Allen, hospitalising him. He's deplorable in just about every way. Makhmudov made Kabayel look like a world beater (he's not) and he also lost to Vianello who is a sparring partner. Everyone would love to see Fury get chinned but Makhmudov is a soft touch.

Considering Furys not had a fight in 16 months at 37 years old....its a good opponent. On top of that the big fella can bang a bit. We all know Makhmudov,s limited but hes far from a soft touch comeback fight. 6 foot 5. 265 lbs. Strong and can punch. I think Fury will be on point tomorrow. He,ll still have his sharpness but if hes doesnt and hes on the slide....it could turn into a tough night.
Makhmudov doesn't seem like a bigger puncher than the average heavyweight. This entire myth seems to be based on knocking out Wach, at 42, who had been punched about a million times over his career and was well on the slide. However, Fury seems to only get up for the big matches, has already been dropped about ten times, has been inactive for years and is now old. If Pajkic can drop Fury then Makhmudov can knock him out but that doesn't mean it isn't a soft comeback opponent. Makhmudov is rubbish.
Something like 14 knockouts within the first 2 rounds in his 19 wins. Also knocked Teper out in a round. It doesnt quite make sense your saying Furys old hes been inactive for years and easily knocked over then saying Makhmudovs a soft touch. Makhmudov is limited. Imo Fury will look good tomorrow and get the job done without too much hassle. But its not a fight without an element of danger. Makmudov can punch. I dont really need to look at his record to know that much.
For some reason I watched the full John Fury interview with Spencer Oliver and the Daily Mail bird. When you actually get him talking about boxing rather than offering people out he knows his stuff and broke the Usyk fights down well. Didn’t speak highly of Sugar Hill, or ‘sugar lump’ as John calls him. The Daily Mail lass was great too, much better than the usual boxing media.
She's good, shame she has to tag along with Spencer Oliver but we can't have everything! It's nice to see interviews with people who can actually speak and think properly, and not say "like, um, kind of, like, erm" every 20 seconds...
