Fury v Makhmudov Officially Announced

Lol, Fury could tell me today is Tuesday and I'd still double check.

 

Strange ring magazine face to face hosted by the oompa loompa with these two today.
Usual boring shtick from Fury but Makhmudov looking at the floor for most of it. Is Makh just turning up and grateful for the pay day or is he ambitious and just that humble.

 

Since his 2026 return we have had:

1. John fury going off on one at Froch & Bunce in spectacular fashion
2. Hearn being done like a dog by the little runt
3. Warren taking on the saudis
4. Alsheikh turning one of the most historic publications in boxing into his personal propaganda arm

Like him or hate him - Fury brings some type of gypsy energy force to boxing

 

I love the card tbh. But Clarke v Huni is only going one way.

 

Which is?

 

Huni all day. A far better boxer and athlete. Clarke was so poor against TKV and his stamina is non existent.

 

It is insanely too long.

1st bell will be about midday

Tickets still look very poor sales wise.

At least with it being Netflix I can watch a couple fights I want to watch then turn it off once we get to the main two

 

Watch football and boxing whole day, love it!

 

Some very good match ups and looking forward to this card now.

 

Hoping Froch v John Fury is added as well.

 

The great thing about the card is i have 0 interest in the main 2 fights, so I can turn it off by about 8.45pm

 

Agree, hate this fight for Clarke tbh. I can see Huni just boxing his head off, and Clarke hasn’t really got that Wardley “get out of jail free” card power to bail him out if he’s losing rounds. Would’ve much preferred the TKV rematch because that’s actually a winnable fight, and a logical one for both lads given Bosh Jnr rejecting the title shot.

And if Riakporhe pulls off the upset as well, that’s basically both of them done at the level they want to be at. Bad matchmaking really… but not exactly surprising given what the chief support is.
