Seems far less interest in this than there was for the rubbish Chisora and Wilder and even the women’s fights on the weekend. I think it will be a good fight.
Think I am at the point where I am so bored of the tediousness of Fury's story I couldn't be interested in any fight he is in.
Agree. How many times has he retired ha ha. I’ve never been a massive fan but I do think he’s been written off as a ‘bum’ by way too many. Only lost them two fights to Usyk and everyone knows how good he is. Same people idolise Chisora who’s lost in almost every fight he wasn’t a massive fave in. I think Fury was winning the first until he got cocky and the second, I thought it was closer than the consensus. Although I was out on the ale, everyone thought Fury had won, including one or two respected ex pros in there. I lost far more respect for him for that pathetic, embarrassing fight with the MmA man. I think the public are one extreme or the other, greatest thing since sliced bread or bum. You saw it with Joshua as well. I think Fury was very good for years and will be interesting to see what he has left.
Fight is in 3 days and there is literally ZERO talk or hype lol, Fury will probably scrape to a win as well.
This is also a heavyweight era where none of the truly big fights ever materialised – Wilder v Joshua in 2018, and then AJ v Tyson after Tyson defeated Wilder. Then it took Usyk to show just how fundamentally poor this era has really been. This month, though, is hopefully the start of something new, with Itauma shining, while the current crop just seem to be in it for the payday now, and even the casuals seem tired of the script. I’m sure Trump will be taking credit too when boxing resumes in Saudi.
Agreed, and the fights are entertaining, as they’re all regressing at roughly the same pace, which in a way just shows they were always fairly well matched. Joshua v Fury, and either of them against Wilder, would still likely be a good entertaining fight and there’s nostalgia and history attached to it. But put them in again with Usyk or someone like Moses, and that’s when the gap really becomes apparent. There will always be a market for the spectacle events, but the novelty gimmick fights really have to go, especially as stadium events.
I’m quite looking forward to the three HW fights. Huni-Clarke is intriguing, I’m certain Huni will beat him easily but you never know. TKV v Riakhphore is hard to call. And whilst Fury should school Makhmudov, the inactivity could play a factor. I think it’s decent enough entertainment for something included in a subscription most of us will already possess.
Didn’t know that was even happening. I really liked the way he fought and carried himself afterwards against Wardley. Just watched a video and I’d even forgotten about the quick count.

Same old isn’t it. Fury back off another PED cycle to win a UD against a plodder, followed by the usual guff about how he’s back. He’ll probably write a book about it. I think outside of the Joshua fight, the division and fans have moved on from Fury. He took the **** for too long and he’s trying to do it again.
