I don't know what it peaked to, but it certainly wasn't 3.5m. It actually averaged 1.7m. Which is still pretty good for Channel 5.

Awesome figures. ******'s fighters must be wondering what they're doing fighting in front of a few thousand on an obscure TV channel when millions are watching a debutant and fat gypsy fight a couple of nobodies.

And just as importantly, where did 3.5 mil come from?

It really makes no sense. It pulls in big numbers but the terrestrial channels can’t find advertising? ****ing idiots all of them. I hate Sky – it really is its entire fault. Imagine if Mitchell-Murray had been on ITV or Ch5… everyone would have been talking about it. Both guys would have been stars.

Pay tv was the killer, in America too. Now UFC have a deal with free tv over there, mma is going to get even more popular.

And where did Eubank Jr get this figure from?

    Mick Hennesy?:?

Fury's Chisora fight drew 3 million........but his Firtha fight drew just 1 million.

I rather doubt that Fury's fight with Pajkic would get more viewers than his Chisora fight........and I don't think Eubank junior would have pulled that many more in.

Bear in mind that there wasn't a Match of the Day on Saturday.
