Hughie's fights are only ever going to be very boring. However, it is a fight i'm interested in seeing the result of, just have no interest in actually watching it.
Kind of ironic Hughie is fighting Povetkin while supposed "best HW in the world" Tyson Fury is fighting the Tom Schwartzes and Charles Martins of the world.
Really interesting fight on paper that get's you excited. Then two rounds in you remember how boring Hughie is.
Fury could be getting him at just the right time. Old now, inactive, this could put Fury on the map again.
Povetkin will school him and tko him late if he is at 50% of what he was against Joshua There are levels in boxing and povetkin is a couple of levels above h. Fury
Hughie's style isn't really suited for PPV cards. Maybe Hearn is expecting Povetkin to blow him away in entertaining fashion.
I said this in the British forum but after a career best performance from Price against Allen I'd really have to sit and think about this one. Fury lacks power and wouldn't be able to put the kind of pace that tends to tire Price. It would likely be a tentative boxing match with both settling and eventually getting some good work in. Was really amazed at some of the nice textbook combinations Price threw against Allen. Sure he looked stiff and awkward but it's still easy to see why many hyped him up when he puts his best in.
