People are going on about Fury fighting Bellew. Isn’t the Price fight far better? Two big proper heavyweights who have got history despite being a bit pally lately. People like me will remember the 2010-12 days where people were really hoping this fight happened. **** Bellew trying to make more money off big people who’ve definitely/maybe completely lost it whilst calling himself a heavyweight. Fury has already just fought a cruiser. I agree with Bunce, Fury should have one more fight then go for Price.
Bellew is better than Price, Fury`s stance was crap tonight, he stood straight legged and his feet were narrow, his body was awful, this might give a puncher lie Price a chance, Bellew should Price and then the winner fight Fury.
Bellew and Price both would've probably beat tonight's version of Tyson Fury. He looked absolute garbage.
I agree they’d both beat him on that showing. Who knows how he’ll improve with more weight loss and someone he’s trained properly for. One thing is for certain is Joshua will be laughing at the moment.
If he does then he needs to give his OBE and MBE back as we expect better from someone in his position
Price would knock out this wooden legged robotic slow version of Fury inside 4 rounds. Fury will get his. It may not be Price who does it though.
Price should actively campaign to get that fight while he has a realistic chance of winning. Get his people to phone Fury's people, call him out on social media, goad him, slag him for ducking if he refuses etc.
From last night's showings I don't see Fury fighting anyone of any danger for a while yet tbh. I'm not averse to the guy easing his way back in on undercards is he's kept active. Last night was like an exhibition, don't think Seferi was there to win, was like a dwarf and quit as soon as he possibly could. Still, Fury didn't look to go, once he started actually boxing instead of clowning he threw a few combos and stuck his jab out at times, moved a little bit but no too much. He didn't look too fluent and may need a few camps and a bit more weight loss before he does. Price for all his faults still has a high element of danger for a couple of rounds, he scored a very nice counter that shook Povetkin up around being beat up and that threat alone is probably why they won't throw Fury in with him until they are sure he's at the best shape he can get himself in and has lost the rust, looking for fluent. I'm all fine with that but they need to slow the hype of Fury down somewhat until he's ready to get in the mix again cause otherwise every fight is going to get flak for him looking like **** against domestic level fighters at best whilst calling out the elites.
Welcome back to 2012... David Price wants to fight 'idiotic' Tyson Fury By Frank Keogh BBC Sport 16th Oct 2012 David Price says Tyson Fury is an "idiot" and wants to fight the fellow British heavyweight next year. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/19967026
Both price and belles are far too dangerous. He can't afford to lose, at least not yet. Based on last night both these fights would be very difficult and too risky.
