Thoughts? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12183_6852845,00.html Whats wrong with Chisora? He must be well pissed off, he cant seem to get a fight with anyone.
Rahman must be seriously diminished if the Fury camp are taking this fight, and i mean SERIOUSLY diminished. He aint getting brought over for the win. Having said that, the first 2 rounds will be interesting and i'll be investing a few quid on Rahman on Rounds 1 and 2, based only on the fact that no matter how bad he is, he still has his punch and that Fury hangs his chin in the air.
Bad idea for who/what? I think it's a good for little test and a name for Fury, whereas Rahman is in it for the money. Sounds like a win/win for me...
I'd like to agree with those questioning whether this is a good move for Fury. He's a bit rough around the edges and Rahman has a huge experience edge. Rahman also has serious 1 punch power as Lewis found out, & Fury isn't exactly a defensive genius. Dangerous fight for little gain IMO. Even if Fury wins everyone will say Rahman was shot so what's the upside for him? The good news is Fury is being trained by Emanuel Steward, who has a way of bringing tall, reachy fighters along to magnify those type fighters strengths & shield their flaws. Good fight either way, lots of good happenings in the Heavys at the moment.
Why is Tyson fighting a still dangerous ex world champ at this point in his career? He's 22 & should be fighting domestic opponents at the mo imo. In a couple of years time this would be the right level of competition for him to be fighting at. I have a bad feeling about this fight.
I see Rock cleaning house on this fight , people always underestimate him because of his flaws but if he's serious it will be deadly for Fury. Rock has been in training a long time, not for Fury but he should be in shape. He's had deals fall through with Adamek, Mormeck, Unistov, and mentioned to get on the super 6 tourney as well.
Rahman, like Holyfield and Jones Jr. ,is completely and utterly shot.Fury knows this as well as anyone. An easy KO win for the Pikey.:good
Funny to see these has beens still trying. David Tua looks AWFUL. I think Rahman is actually one of the better has beens left, however he is 38 same as Tua. Holyfield must be like 100 now...jokes aside...I personally would like to see Rock take the kid Fury to school! Rahman has a horrible excuse for a chin also, but I'm not so sure it's as bad as say RJJ. hahaha
Dont pick on my favorite boxer Zak, I will have to leave the ChinChecker elite. I really hope he shatters Fury's jaw, i think his is made of glass but no1 knows yet ????
Hey I gotta call 'em as I see 'em. Tommy Morrison is one my favorite all-time fighters. Think I'm gonna deny he had a glass jaw??
I'm just pullin yer mandible! I love Rahman, but what a tough job to be a fan of someone with one of the worst chins in the HISTORY of BOXING, not just heavyweights. Oh wow, yeah Morrison tasted that canvas a bit. I hear he is still at it, is that true? I hadn't been over to his record at boxrec in ages, did he fight in 2010 ? Tyson Fury is sure to show us china maxilla - you heard it here first.
