I want to test the mood of the forum on this one. To my mind this is a woeful misstep by the Gypsy King and handlers, I just don't get it at all. Talk about momentum after the Wilder fight.... leading to a fight against... "Schwarz"?? Some fights you see the hardcores say "nobody will watch this". But you know they will. But honestly, for this I've zero interest at all and I just can't imagine a single UK fan will stay up to watch this, much less actually pay for it and stay up until dawn. In fact, I struggle to see what's in it for the U.S audience either. But am I wrong? Anyone watching/buying?
I don't blame Fury for taking the deal and slowing things down, because I thought he'd overshot in taking the Wilder fight in the first place. He's probably making the right call for the long term at least. However I've little interest in watching him against second rate fighters and it's in Vegas so I won't be staying up and definitely not paying if its on BT PPV.
It's on ESPN app here so no. I'll definitely watch it , but no one really is going to pay for it unless your related to Fury or have posters of him .
Hasn’t been confirmed as PPV in the UK either yet. I expect a Warrington v Galahad and Fury v Schwarz box office package though.
Well, I'm interested in Fury. But not in him wasting the best part of a year and fighting Schwarz (who?).
Not sure he did. He said Warrington on its own wouldn’t be PPV and has he commented on Fury’s fight? I can’t see how it won’t be.He is a PPV fighter here now and his purse will be huge and needs covering.
Not really , he had a PPV worthy fight with Wilder , that didn't make him a PPV fighter. It wouldn't be worth the marketing investment to PPV the Schwarz fight. No way will it be PPV. It says normal BT on the end of the page. https://sport.bt.com/news/fury-set-...er-rematch-possible-next-year-S11364347662783
