I’ve never heard of IPTV, am I a mugth for buying fights on BT sports PPV?
The twitter poll is clear in that most viewers have it these days and growing by the week with virtually nobody watching on DAZN UK.
No wonder the subscriber numbers are not published.
Subscription prices are going to have to fall across broadcasters and Box Office abolished as the cohort of subscribers and potential subscribers is shrinking by the week.
I was listening to analysts talking about subscription TV the other night. Their long term estimate was that 3 companies would win in the US and the model would likely repeat in other places later - Netflix (which has a huge catalogue, makes more TV than most and is now experimenting with live sports); Discovery networks (including HBO) and Disney once they sort out Plus and a few other things.
In the UK you could argue Sky is possibly the middle one of those but only barely; the likes of DAZN didn't warrant a mention. Nor did the notion of PPV as opposed to long-term retained subscriptions.
Certainly a mug period, I can confirm that.
God here's big Mo. Wish he'd just **** up
Have a day off you absolute plum.
Yeah I’ve never met anyone in real life who has heard of the zone.
I take it iptv is the way forwards, I’m old skool when it comes to tech, got sick of finding hooky streams so just buy fights on my laptop whenever I need to. Few times a year I guess.
Ask around at your local bar, gym, family and friends and someone will point you in the right direction.
I was amazed when I seen what you get for £70 per year these days.
