Yes, although what happened after Fury got up isn't that important. It's the shock of the knockdown and Fury getting up that most people remember. That's why I'm saying the momentum is there for the rematch. This warmup/build the fight nonsense doesn't really make sense. This is just Bob Arum milking Fury off the back of the Wilder fight. He has done a selling job to sign Fury and somehow convinced him to delay the rematch. Why? Because he could easily get knocked spark out and that would be bad for their investment.

Lol Wilderness fans.. 'Tyson would u like £80 million to fight on ESPN (& all the exposure that will bring) or would u like £7 million to go get robbed on showtime again??? Umhhh, let me think...'

It's smart. It's not a duck, the sport can't be trusted. It's corrupt.. Well done Tyson, if only others would follow suit. Until the sport gets some integrity then look out for #1 I say.. Americans do it all the time!

GGG, Kovalev, Fury, Korobov all in high profile fights that had dubious scoring.. Sick of it! I don't blame Fury for making a power play, good on him...

Chess move Wilder into coming to him or he'll have to live with that gift draw forever whereas Tyson KNOWS he out boxed him..

Tyson's the A side now. Deal with it...

    Look,
Wilder would do best to go study that tape and get back in the gym for 4-6 months. Then comeback to a tuneup of somebody with a similar style to fury and go from there.
Plenty of big entertaining fights for fury.

You can say that was a draw but you aren’t fooling anybody who knows how to score a fight.
Just like canelo, you can say he won all those controversial dec’s But you aren’t gonna fool anybody who knows what they are looking at.

Joshua is clearly the best heavyweight. I dont think it could get much clearer.

I said Fury probably deserved to win, but now it starts to look like the brutal knockdown in the 12th shook him, and he might be avoiding the rematch.

Fury has more skill and Wilder is dangerous to anyone that stands in front of him, I don`t get your arguement at all, these fights have me excited but don`t look like they going to happen.

All time great fight I hope this is a joke. It wasn’t even a great fight of the year ( quality wise I mean) it was memorable no doubt but great nah nothing like it.
It was an extraordinary come back from fury nothing more. The quality was extremely poor, how is that getting forgotten here.

Fury`s head movement and ability to slip shots by an inch was interesting and very effective at the same time.

It was what it was, but don't forget the time off both fighters took in the later rounds, it was an interesting fight of course but furys head movement wasn't anything new or interesting.
He barely used a fraction of his ability to make wilder miss.
People are shocked fury and Wilder isn't next, I must say and said it on here why would fury fight wilder next. It was a long road back to the big time for fury and he earned a gimme.
I think that’s changed a lot now tho he's been prepaid for his next 5 fights, why would he risk wilder next?
If I was paid up for 5 fights and took the route fury had, I'd make sure my last 2 fights of the 5 were wilder and Joshua, if I was money orientated like all boxers are these days.
These prepaid contracts don't seem to be great for the fights we want getting made.

Also not an all time great fight but at least there was quality... but wilder fury was pretty awful. The best thing about the fight was the fact that it ment no more pressers or promotions, that was awful painful even.

Anyone who thought this was all time classic fight night needs to watch some fights.

Go watch Lewis v Vitali or Bowe vs Evander and then try calling Wilder v Fury a classic.

I'm with IB. I see HW as the least skilled division. If you're big and can punch, you can go far.
