Frank Warren said that the UK PPV would be showing Anthony Yarde's fight which isn't being shown on the American broadcast. So maybe BT are just showing the whole undercard while Showtime are showing Stevenson-Gvozdyk. Would be good if Sky picked it up but I don't see it happening. Matchroom USA/DAZN shows are probably the only American cards we'll see on Sky from now on.
Yes, I expect you're right. Not worried about the Yarde set up, but at least Luis Ortiz will be fighting. A shame to miss the possibility of seeing Stevenson's losing to Gvozdyk. High time the UK/DAZN got sorted out, as it seems the only option for us now.
I thought they may have forked out for the Stevenson fight and stuck that on the non PPV BT sport channel beforehand. Maybe it would've encouraged some more sign ups? Or at least helped me and others stay awake until the LA card kicks in. Am tired of Yarde now, even the joke's are wearing thin. Yeah I think the DAZN deal means that Sky will feel their boxing quota is full and we won't get any other US cards.
