Fury. He's technically superior and even though Wilder is clearly the harder puncher, I honestly don't think it's that relevant. Wlad hit hard too. You can't hit it, you can't beat it is what Peter Fury said on the post fight press conference.
I have Wilder in this. Wilder will not stand and wait, he will "pull the trigger", go full offensive and he won't care much about Fury's counter. Styles make fights, and I think Fury has the style to cause trouble to probably all top10 heavys, including Wilder, but Wilder has the best chance to stop him. It would be a great fight.
I said before the fight fury will win , because wlad is old , but army of these so called "not casuals" were screaming how wlad will KO him. Wlad is simply old , he can't let punches go , his reflexes are gone, he's been on a speedy decline for past two years. Wilder is in his prime, he'll punch fury and i give him a very good chance to beat him , not just beat him,but to KO fury and not because wilder is something special , but because Fury is not as good as most people think.
Wilder has a chance, people seriously overrate the HW division and though Wilder isn't a great fighter he doesn't have to be great since he is in a weak division. I don't know any heavyweights right now that I can say he has no shot against because the division is that weak. And before somebody comes in and trolls this thread and says Wilder should fight Povetkin now, go away with that. Mandatories are not more important than unifications. And a unification fight is far more important than Wilder-Povetkin. The winner of Fury-Wilder could fight Povetkin later. Same goes for a Fury-Klitschko rematch. Everybody clamors for unifications in every other division but are talking about Fury-Klitschko rematches and Wilder-Povetkin like they are afraid to see someone unify the Heavyweight division.
Wilder shat his pants last night. He got schooled in Wlad camp, and then he saw Fury absolutely dominating and landing shots that would make Wilder wake up in a Fallout universe
