If WK had a chance to fight the Tyson Fury from the original fight in a rematch would he win? It’s the same Fury from the first fight. If WK was aware of what was coming I think he may of been able to adjust his style and carve out a decision victory. Thoughts ?

Bring that fight back even just two years earlier and I think Wlad would have stopped even prime Fury.

Wlad desperately wanted the rematch and he had a good final round. I think he might have won but the writing was on the wall with Wlad. He had made 18 consecutive title defenses and had over 60 fights. He looked bad in the Jennings fight and worse in the Fury fight. Then he rebounded with a better style match up against Joshua and with a renewed fire in that fight. Peak for peak I pick Wlad comfortably over Fury

The fact that Fury collapsed mentally and ducked the rematch while Wlad was all systems go tells me that Wlad would have caved his head in had they fought again, and Fury knew it. Fury has to be in the correct mental space to operate at his best and he wasn't.

I thought that Wlad was going to win the rematch, back when it actually looked likely to happen.

My sixth sense told me that Fury was not in the right place, and that Wlad was about to up his game.

Both predictions turned out to be correct, but the fight never materialized.

More than that, I’d pick an old Klitschko over Joshua had he not listened to his brother’s advice and let Joshua back in the fight.

Wlad was trying to hard to end it with a left hook. Had he just let his hands go he'd have done him.

I would certainly think that Wlad would try and adjust. Fury too would of adjusted and possibly fought a different fight. With hindsight, it’s hard to pick against Fury. He came back from an unhealthy lay off and now dominates the heavyweight scene. I just think Fury is a cut above the rest and can box/fight as good as anyone else. Fury would of won the rematch imo.

I don’t see Wlad doing any better in the rematch frankly.

Every time Wladimir Klitschko fought a taller fighter than himself, he never adapted, he tried fighting the same, it worked against Wach because he doesn’t use his reach, against Fury he tried the same and he looked lost at sea, still the same jumping back in other his arms stretched when fury would throw, you can’t do that against taller boxers because you’re away from firing range, we didn’t see any head movement or trying to cover the distance quickly, he can only fight one way and that is on top and fighting at range and that would never work against Fury

It was bad tactics from team Klitschko and Joshua got back in the fight and took it. 41 year old Klitschko was arguably better than prime Joshua and i definitely think he was. Prime Klitschko would've punched Joshua's head off his shoulders

Interesting that this is split 50-50.
