Fury vs Aj off

The question that's being overlooked is this: If Eddie's contract is not valid.... then who countersigned his contract??

Presumably it was Turki/Sela, no?

And we all know perfectly well that Eddie never in a million years would have signed a contract that gave Dana promotional rights -- unless Turki offered him and AJ off-the-charts $$.

So it's silly to fault Eddie entirely for this. Turki has to bear the brunt of the burden here.

If a Dana role were proffered to Eddie up-front, Eddie would have said no sale. But he signed an agreement with Turki/Sela, yes?

I don't see how anyone can argue that Dana's not the Johnny-come-lately skunk-at-the-ball here. If Turki wants him involved and wants it in the US, he's got to work up a new agreement that satisfies all parties. He clearly botched this on his first try.

 

Well i'd say they have this week to sort it out or it's truly off.

I hope it's Wembley so we can hear the crowd screaming when Fury knocks AJ out.

Obviously that clause is there, cause otherwise, Eddie wouldn't have a leg to stand on. And since the clause is there, Sela is in the pickle. They can't force AJ to fight in the US if the contract states UK. Otherwise they would be breaching it.

Eddie Hearn had no real answer other than "its what we signed"

The reality is Eddie Hearn isnt as tribal as he would like to make himself out to be and is likely being stubborn cause this is HIS fight in his mind and he doesnt want Dana White or whoever else involved

Like you said the fight should be in the UK but money talks (especially at this level with 2 guys that want massive money for a fight that isnt actually as big as most UK people think)

This is not enough of a reason for the fight to happen and Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua should get the brunt of the blame for this reason

 

Fury is an easy target but in reality Eddie Hearn is being stubborn about this while disguising it as standing up and fighting for the British public
