AJ is done. This will be his cash out fight and then retire

Before the Dubois blow out I would've favoured Joshua but who knows what state he'll be in following that loss. Fury himself is coming off of two losses but neither was even remotely as embarrassingly one sided and devastating as Joshua's, and Fury seems to think he deserved the nod in both fights (he didn't) so he probably won't take too much of a confidence hit either. If the fight happens I favour Fury, but still wouldn't count Joshua out completely.

I can't trust AJ after the Dubois fight, I get "styles" and Dubois is legit but that performance was genuinely one of the worst versions of a fighter I've ever seen in the modern era.. I swear even in the Wallin fight he didn't come in there thinking "I will show up with my chin miles in the air, hands all the way down, and lead with uppercuts!!!". Baffling. Fury by lackluster decision perhaps, I still doubt the fight happens in all honesty.

I doubt either of them have the hunger to take it seriously.

    I'm going AJ by KO.

I'd back Fury on both their best days. Fury will really not want to lose this one.

Trying to decide who's decomposed the most is a very subjective topic. As Rummy accurately pointed out AJ is 6-4 in his last 10 fights and is coming off a blowout KO. Fury hasn't exactly been active the last 3 years and was dropped by an MMA guy and rocked by a smaller fighter like Usyk who doesn't possess a heavyweight KO punch. Who do I think wins? I'll go the other way and pick Joshua, not because I think he's on solid ground, but Fury isn't a big puncher and I think he'll be the one on his back foot in what I see as being a boring jabbing chess match for several rounds in somewhat of a replay of the (Gasp) horrific Fury Wlad fight. Also if anyone gets hurt in this fight I believe it's Fury, his defense ain't all that any longer and he'll be vulnerable to AJ's straight right. But with a nod to Rummy ,what do I know? One slapping shot to Joshua's temple and he probably wobbles like a New Years drunk.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I'm seeing things re AJ ATM.

I'm wondering if his self belief and confidence is now totally in tatters. Mental strength is after all absolutely paramount in combat sports.

I'm not even sure how AJ performs against so-so ranked fighters, now, that he would ordinarily have beaten convincingly 5 years ago.

Anyway, I'd still like to see the all British domestic dust up between pork belly slice & AJ that should have happened already.

    Fury boxes his head off

No plodder on the planet beats Fury

Only way Fury could lose this is come horribly out of shape like he did Francis and be lazy

Fury should win but you never know until they actually get in the ring. This is the only meaningful fight for both of them.

Fury is the better boxer. AJ the harder puncher. I favor Fury to take it but AJ can bang and has a strong punchers chance.

One thing you can never doubt about Joshua is his preparation. He lives the life and comes into every fight in great shape.

You can't say the same about Fury.

Both Fury and Joshua would be proper motivated at the thought of fighting each other, however I still think Fury beats him and can beat him a few different ways but for Joshua to win he needs to land a big bomb and then keep Fury down. Both are also well past there best days but it’s still a fight fans would like to see and it’s a huge money earner. I think a lot of fans would still like to see a Joshua v Wilder fight. Tbh I would rather Fury fought Dubois before fighting Joshua but money talks !
