If Tyson's trash talk tempts Bellew to stop boiling down and he can make heavweight ... who takes this?

Bellew at the press conference!! SMashes him round the head with a chair and stabs up his pikey crew!

To much of a step up, he could step up, but his frame isn't built for heavyweight and I think he'd get overpowered, mauled, and feel just what heavyweight punches feel like.

HOWEVER, if Bellew boxed, which we know he can. He could out box Fury and make him miss a lot.

    Depends what Bellew turns up.

Ar f*ck it, Bellew on points! :rofl

I can see these two coming to blows at a press conference, Fury will probably square upto Tony and get chinned.

Call me insane, but I think that Bellew could beat him.

A skilled 190lb fighter can beat a plodding 250lb opponent. It's been done before, enough times by Adamek.

It will be done again :deal

    Not in the slightest.

Bellew would a) never take the fight and b) unless he was on his bike all evening would be KO'd brutally after 3 or 4 demoralising rounds of being bullied by a super heavyweight ramrod jab.

And he isn't David Haye - so I am quite sure he wouldn't last too long on his backfoot.

Fury wouldn't bash Bellew up inside four rounds, of that I'm quite certain.

You'd have to make Fury favourite, he's six inches or so taller, with a longer reach and a decent chin.

But Bellew would be the most skilled opponent he's been in with....

    Bellew didn't lose to Cleverly.

Come on.... I'm not saying that Bellew WOULD win.

All I'm saying is that cruiserweights (which Bellew is) can beat heavyweights.

Especially heavyweights who arm-punch constantly and have porous defences.

I like Tony but i don't see his power effecting Tyson, He's refined more nowadays but i don't see how he lands enough and stops Tyson being effective in this.

He's moving off the back foot nowadays, he may make Tyson miss for a bit and counter but i'd take Tyson's added weight, long arms and ability to drop it up and downstairs to take fight out of Tony and stop him in middle rounds. Tyson would soon find a way, he's good at that. He's willing to fight fire with fire, and he could well hunt Bellew around the ring and put his punches together and Bellew for as good as he's boxing off back foot would struggle to maintain that against a bigger man with dimensions that far exceed anyone he's faced professionally.

Fury misses with one, then the other scuffs and the third lands. They take a effect on fighters and Fury does have respectful power it will be interesting to see how he does after all this work in gym.

I think you underestimate how quickly a surprisingly nimble man over half a foot taller than you, 3 or 4 stone heavier than you and with a reach the best part of an entire foot longer than you would cut off the ring.

It would be sapping and traumatizing unless you were a built for speed slickster like Haye.

I really like Bellew but he is not fleet of foot or slick ... he has chosen the right weight to fight at and maximise his frame.

To quote David Haye vs Audley 'this would be as one sided as a gang ****'

Are people REALLY considering picking Tony to win? How will Tony out-box a guy who's 6ft9 with a jab which is just as good, if not better than his? I like Tony but the fight would not be competitive. Way to small.

P.S. - To the guy who brought Adamek up - Adamek was a former two time World Champion who beat some big heavies. Adamek weighs in the 220's, Tony weighs around 190 on fight night. How would he stand a chance against Fury?

Even if Bellew weighed over 200 IBS he'd be to sluggish.
