I understand it's a terrible fight but I bought a ticket. Mainly as it's just down the road from me, and it'll be a good night out. Also because it's probably my last chance to see both of these guys fight; I can't afford to travel and this stinks of a Del boy retirement pay day. But he's great to the sport so I don't mind.
Well we each have our own opinions but the amount of high profile, exciting fights he's been in says pretty good for the sport to me.
He's a tough guy, but nevertheless, a predictable loser. What exciting fights has he been in? I can only think of about four.
I don't know whether it's a good or bad thing for the PPV that the England World Cup game may be on the same day. They might think a bunch of drunk folk will add to the numbers but with kick off at 3pm a lot of people will be in bed or not even remember its on if its the usual 2330 ring walks for Warren shows.
I know it's daft but I might put a bet on Chisora pulling off a sneaky upset. On paper it is an absolute walk in the park for Fury and there may even be a mutual arrangement that they will take it easy ect. But anything can happen in boxing and if the odds are good enough I think it's worth a dabble. It's such a poor matchup but I just get a feeling something may not go to plan
It will probably my stupidest ever bet. I may aswell donate it to the fictional charity that Fury gave his entire purse to
