Christ everything he says is so boring now. I’m retired. I’ve got three fights left. I want to fight every month. He’s like the child who will do anything to get his parents attention.

Very few people have pre-ordered access to BT Sport Box Office saturday night so I think we should expect all sorts of desperate attempts to get people to buy the PPV.

I hope it will be a financial failure. It's the only way to stop poor boxingfights sold as PPV.

Those Box Office Suckers have been programmed by Mr Earn of Matchroom to buy any old garbage so no reason to think they will stop buying any old mismatch.

A lot of people are struggling financially these days. Very few have money for PPVs.

    I certainly don't.

If boxing promoters arrange a big and interesting fight - e.g. Eubank Jr vs Smith - then I have no problem with PPV. It is also the only way to finance big fights.

Fury vs Chisora III has no sporting value and the co main event between Dubois and Lerena could easily be placed on a regular BT Sport Fight Night card. Lerena is a cruiserweight boxer who has nothing to do in the heavyweight division. Dubois walks through him and wins easily.

    This is nonsense.

For starters, Smith and Eubank is hardly a big fight.

It's the "only way to finance big fights" because the boxers know what they can get away with. If people simply stopped shelling out for pay-per-view as if it were the norm, then boxers would have to lower their expectations. It's currently a seller's market, because the average boxing/sport consumer is a mug.

So you believe Eubank Jr vs Liam Smith is a big fight that is PPV worthy......You are part of the problem.
PPV is for a fight you carn't miss not a fight between 2 aged fighters from different weight divisons for zero belts.

We don't agree on that, and that's perfectly fine.

Eubank Jr vs Smith is a big fight that every promoter in the U.K. would love to arrange.

If 95% of PPV purchasers decided not to purchase a PPV for the next 10 years outside of the types of clashes that merited PPV in the 90s and so on, what would happen?

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
