Dunno about World Class - more like a Journeyman with a egg chin - however you can be WBF World Champion.
Good point, but whilst being a "World" champ really can mean virtually nothing in some cases, it's not the same as being labelled world class. World class generally means you can hold your own and be competitive with the very best in the world. Channel 5 are blatantly lying when they call Firtha world class. I have not seen him fight, but would guess he is about reasonable British level. If he was much better than that they wouldn't be showing it free on C5.
Dont let the truth get in the way of a good promotion. Look how hyped Clev V Bellew is - despite the obvious difference in class.
Let's be honest, half of ESB is running with this, making out it's some kind of Benn v Eubank super grudge match. All because Bellew posts on here and it kicked off a bit at a press conference.
Pretty much. Benn and Eubank though were mixing it with the best America could offer - except for Nunn and Toney. Clev and espcially Bellew have not proved much yet in World terms.
Cleverly isn't even a true Champion, in fact none of the belts he has won he had to beat an actual champion for it. All his title fights have been Vacant title fights. Fishy.
I think he is right Steve... :yep http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=479205&cat=boxer Lynchburg
do you still think that. although fury looked vunerable in that fight he showed some decent skill i thought!
Yep, I do. Looking good against sitting duck Firtha isn't so hard especially when you are the bigger guy. Put Fury in their with someone who is in shape and can move and then you will really see if Fury has decent skill or not. What ever "skill" Fury displayed last night was pretty likely to have been exaggerated by the awful Firtha......who 2 weeks ago hadn't known about Tyson Fury or even watched any of his fights!
