If they slug it out? I think Joshua would sit him down. Fury is the better boxer ... he needs to box AJ and lead him into traps. Once he cracks that chin then he can go all kronk on him.
AJ doesn`t like trading, whenever an opponent punches he rarely counters, he tends to cover up or clinch even against Pulev who only has 14 KO`s on his record AJ was very careful.
Fury has the better chin and I`ve never seen AJ trade, Fury got off the floor and trader with Wildder he is a bigger puncher than AJ.
It's very interesting this, because it's about the relationship between chins and power. We know that a one punch knockout on either end is unlikely so it's a question of how much Fury can avoid and what bearing that has on who breaks down first (i assume you're not talking about out and out turn about hitting ignoring defence). I will say that as far as a systematic breakdown goes you have to go a long, long way back to find something more impressive than what Fury did to Wilder. I can't think of a Lewis performance that was properly terminated and it was optically far more impressive than anything Wladimir did allowing for the fouls he committed against Povetkin (love and war, but it does impact the achievement). How about Vitali against Peter? Anyway, it's been a while. Certainly much more impressive than any AJ equivalent.
We've seen that when AJ does decide to let his hands go and reel of combinations he has a superb blend of speed and power. Wouldn't be wise for Fury to "punch with" AJ.
