Watch the three punch combination that Joshua knocked down Ruiz Jr with, if he lands that or anything like it on Fury it’s over!

Fury's size, toughness and stamina allows him to prevail despite his power deficit in a "slugfest"

    AKA a dogfight.

Fury has never lost a dogfight.

When AJ gets hurt he is a bumbling mess. When Fury gets hurt he gets stronger, like when they nuked godzilla in that new movie.

Fury is much better than AJ up close.

AJ fights to a rhythm and set patterns, he can't handle Fury in a war.

Fury on top of AJ will have him blowing out hard. Easy to look fancy throwing them combo's on smaller men who don't physically impose & stand in front of you.

Fury cannot punch, yes he KOd Wilder but that was mass accumulation of punches.

Furys chin is no better than AJ but his powers of recovery are far far better.

In a slugfest I think AJ would have the beating of Fury 8/10.

As ive said before Furys punch technique is actually really poor and even when he sits on his punches I dont think they have much power atall.

Power is one part of it, but he doesnt have better combinations, punch variety or technique than AJ

When AJ is gassed sitting on the ropes Fury's feather dusters will feel like sandbags getting slammed across his face.

Hey you forgot to add that fury has better power than Joshua and wilder combined. Lol all this overrating fury is getting ridiculous now. Getting into a slugfest with someone with better power, combo punching, handspeed, and punch variety is stupid, even fury probably knows that

Fury fans think Fury is better at everything than AJ except raw power. They don’t shut up about it. “AJ only has a punchers chance and even then Fury will get up and win.” Have they actively watched AJ and Fury fight? It’s actually quite plain to see AJ is stronger in certain areas Fury lacks like combinations, punch variety, inside explosive power. AJ statistically has a higher jab connect rate lately as well and lands more body shots which Fury fans on this forum have been hyping up Fury to be great in those areas. It’s like they just ignore all of AJ’s strengths and look at his weakness when evaluating an AJ Fury matchup.

    Yeah I agree somewhat.

I think Fury can deffo stop AJ if Joshua gasses out. Probs his best chance of a KO.

This talk of 3 rounds etc asif Fury is a big puncher is laughable, last person Fury did in that timeframe was Tom Schwarz, think we can agree AJ is no Tom Schwarz

Fury has a lower jab connect rate than AJ in both their last few fights. Could only land 18% of his jabs against Wallin. How’s he gonna jab AJ’s nut in? He’s not the man you build him up to be miniq. He may beat AJ but it’s not gonna be easy as you think it is. Don’t be surprised if AJ wins.

Fury varies his jabs. He throws flicking jabs and solid jabs, but he uses faints well too, so opponents struggle to time him. Even if he misses his jab he will interrupt his opponents rhythm. In other words, it's not looking good for AJ.

In other words he has a very low jab connect rate and is a soft puncher. Not looking good for Fury.

I hope for Miniq's sake that Fury wins vs AJ or people will have to talk him off a ledge somewhere ...

On the other hand, once Joshua realises that Fury can’t hurt him he may sit down on his punches and really hurt Fury.

At his best and most natural size Fury is 6’8” and 273lbs
At his best and most natural size Joshua is 6’6” and 248lbs
At his best and most natural size Wilder is 6’7” and 213lbs

    What does this matter?
Well Fury can’t expect to rely on his much more natural greater size as he did Vs Wilder because the difference between Fury and Joshua is marginal. Wilder put on around 24lbs of unnatural weight and it killed him rather than helped him close the gap on Fury, it actually hastened his fatigue during the fight.

Despite there being 23lbs between Fury and Joshua, I’d argue that Joshua will be the physically stronger of the two so Fury won’t be able to fight Joshua with the tactics he fought Wilder with in their second fight.

So will Fury fight in a similar fashion to how he fought in the first Wilder fight?
Well in that fight he was caught numerous times by a fighter who is technically much much poorer that Joshua. A fighter who put him down twice and came within a second of knocking him out. Yet, a fighter who doesn’t have good footwork, doesn’t throw combinations, doesn’t fight well on the inside, doesn’t set traps, doesn’t have the same level of ambidexterity and doesn’t carry KO power in both hands, all things Joshua has & does!

If Wilder can get to Fury and put him down then a far superior (to Wilder) boxer like Joshua will certainly land enough power punches to end Fury’s night.

I can see Fury winning this fight but it’s more likely he’ll stink the joint out as he did against Wlad than that he’ll fight toe to toe with a man of similar size, greater power and has decent boxing skills with which to get that power home.
