Fury vs Joshua is a competetive evenly matched fight.

AJ beats wilder.
Wilder beats Fury when they rematch.
Fury beats Joshua.

As twenty said “styles make fights” and I think that’s how they’ll end up should they all meet.

@Twentyman summarised it aptly. The HW division is so diverse right now with styles and flaws that you can find so many examples on paper where A could beat B but lose to C etc.

 

But Usyk beats them all may I add.

 

It's crazy how opinions keep changing after every fight.

Joshua loses to Ruiz and people wrote home off as a chinny bum.

Declare fury easily number 1.

Then he struggles against wallin and the debate is open again.

If AJ beats Ruiz people will be elevating him back to number 1.

Its a great division.

I don't think there is a clear order you can put these guys.

Theres so many great fights that can be made with so many different outcomes. All of the top 10 or so guys have some great attributes and some obvious flaws.

 

Always thought this is how this triangle goes myself.

 

If Wilder straightens up his right hands, he can take Fury. But Fury is so good.

Joshua would be stood on his head by Fury, but AJ takes Wilder by virtue of shorter shots reaching the target sooner (neither are movers).

 

Styles do make fights but I see it a bit differently. I've always said I'd favour Wilder to KO AJ. AJ to KO Fury. And Fury to outbox Wilder

 

What on earth happened last night for people to think AJ now beats Fury? Fury didn't box to the best of his ability but he showed several quality credentials - toughness, chin, stamina, inside game and bodyshots. Even on a bad night, Fury is better than AJ at almost everything.

 

I've always said Wilder is the toughest fight out there for Fury. Style wise he's the only man on the planet capable of beating Fury. The rematch is 60/40 in Fury's favour for me. I just don't see Fury allowing anyone to beat him. He's so tough and fit and really will give it his all until he's knocked out cold. But if anyone can knock you out cold, it's Deontay Wilder. I'll be watching the rematch through my fingers. It's a great matchup.

 

AJ v Fury is not and never will be a 50/50 fight.

Fury stops a gassed AJ late.

 

Fury schools the chinny robot 12-0 99 times out of 100.

Freak cuts happen in boxing, he still won almost every round.

Concussions also happen in boxing, the difference being big Josh thinks they shouldn’t be allowed and used his concussion as an excuse for quitting against Ruiz.

Wilder has the punchers chance against fury because he has speed and angles, Joshua has neither.

 

What happened? Fury showed a lack of power once again, and won a scrappy fight against a guy you’d imagine Wilder and Joshua would just blow away in a few rounds. I know you’re fully on the ‘he reminds me of Ali, but better’ Kool-Aid but he didn’t really look that great.

 

The worrying thing for Fury fans must be the fact their man was planting his feet and letting rip with his punches last night, landing them but not putting much of a dent in Wallin. Fury is 6'9 and 250lbs!!! I think he has the heart of a lion but if Wilder really gambles, I think he can walk in and spark him early doors.
