Nah, these are both solid 70/30 fights in favour of Usyk and Joshua... Fury doesn't have no chance, but he needs to be significantly better (or Usyk significantly worse), and Dubois has a little more than a punchers chance but is likely to be shown levels again. The bigger problem with making Joshua-Fury is it's always looked like Fury really, really doesn't want any part of it.
Typical Aj fan, wanting Aj to fight a washed up former cocaine addict who didn't fight for 3 years, so they can claim he was always better, if he won Thankfully, Fury wouldn't lose no matter how washed up he is And yes, I too want Aj violently knocked out for a number of reasons He was a dru dealer He gave a racist speech His behaviour post Usyk 2 Oh and his fake guy act, pretending he is the jolly green giant Fury can be a piece of s..t too, but he doesnt really pretend otherwise
I’m not even an AJ fan but for arguments sake let’s just say that I am. At least I’m wanting them to fight which surely is the whole point of watching the sport? To get to see two boxers have a match up to see what happens, where as you fury fans would be happy celebrating fights that never happened just so you can say “ well fury would have won anyway so there’s no point in even fighting” And to say you hate AJ as he was a “drug dealer” for selling a bit of weed when he was 16 yet love fury who in recent years has obvious links to various people within that industry is laughable. “Joshua gave a racist speech” and yet Fury has also in the past had to publicly apologise for racist/homophobic/xenophobic comments. “Fake guy act” and yet fury’s “man of the people” act since his return is equally as cringey as Joshua’s mr humble nonsense. Like I say it’s weird.
Looking past Dubois has the potential for a banana skin. Dubois has a punchers chance and a legit one. Hopefully Joshua learnt his lesson from Ruiz and doesn't look past Dubois.
Correct. Turki identifies a few things that could derail Fury-Joshua. Including the possibility that Fury might retire after the Usyk fight.
Great, I'd love to see it more than either fighting Usyk again (if AJ keeps getting Usyk shots, eventually he'll beat him due to Usyk's age, and I don't want to see that kind of ingenuine victory, with Hearn then using that to point out how AJ has beaten every man he's fought like Lennox Lewis blah-blah-blah). AJ-Fury is a big legacy fight for both guys, given that top dog of this generation has been established. A win for AJ or Fury would be the best or 2nd-best wins of their respective careers. Not to mention it should be a very entertaining fight and run-up.
